YOU BELONG TO ME
My legs are stretching, moving uncomfortably. My fingers slide over something soft and smooth. My hands stretch out to their max point.
I move my head avoiding the annoying light that makes my sight uncomfortable.
Then I hear several steps that make me open my eyes with a twitch. I lift my body in one go to examine where I am.
I look carefully at the place. I find myself in a room, a small one that only has a bed in the middle, there are not even seats or other furniture that fill the room. The white, lifeless walls are the ones that surround me. I open my eyes like plates when I think the worst. Then I quickly take off what seems to be a sheet and breathe a sigh of relief when I notice that I am still wearing the same clothes.
The only window the room has is a tiny opening that barely lets in the sun's rays. This window has bars, which I suppose is so that no one can enter, or rather, so that no one can leave.
I look at the door and jump up and down to open it. I release a curse when I notice that it is locked.
My hands go to my head and start massaging hard this part while I think about how to get out, escape from here. I don't even know where the hell I am.
My stomach roars with force demanding that I give it something to eat. My dry throat begs for water. I wear several strands of my hair backwards so that they do not bother me.
I get up ready to open the door at a certain point, but before my hand can feel the knob, it opens slowly, causing me to panic.
The door frame is where that guy comes in. The one who bought me...
His blue eyes look at me closely, examining my body from the bottom up. He throws me a slight smile, that gesture irritates me and makes me look away in disgust.
- I see you're awake now. – He says.
I do not answer; the truth is that I am quite upset by the way I was brought to wherever I am.
- Sorry for the way we brought you in, we couldn't risk you screaming in the middle of take-off, that's why I had to sedate you.
I make gestures with sarcasm and look at him with hatred so that he sees that I am not intimidated.
- Where am I now? - I ask firmly.
He keeps looking at me and then smiling again, which still screws up my patience.
- Soon you will know... - he says as his hand carefully searches the bag he is carrying. He takes out a small coat and extends it to me - Here, it's too cold outside...
I shyly take it and put it on. We both look at each other quietly until my stomach roars.
I release a curse mentally because the boy lets out a little laugh.
- You must be hungry, right? - he murmurs with laughter.
- No! - my stomach belches out roaring again.
- That gives me the opposite impression - he smiles.
- Well, if I'm hungry and very hungry! - I answer angrily.
- Well then let's go... -he hurries to open the door.
Wait until I give in and I do. I follow him. We walk down a long corridor, the boy opens one more door that leads to a large room.
I open my eyes and mouth when I see how elegant the place is. The candlesticks, the furniture, everything is beautiful.
- It's this way... - the young man guides.
I hurry to follow him. He leads me to a dining room. This one is even more elegant, the table is made of glass and the seats are beautiful and quite elegant.
