“For what it’s worth, I think about you all the time. It’s messing up my schoolwork. I sleep like crap, because I want to be at your house, in your bed. So, if wanting me like that makes you a bad person, then I’m a bad person, too.” I reached out and took hold of his hand. “We can be awful people together.”
“Are you sure?”
“I’m sure.”
Daniel nodded and looked down at his lap for a long time. When he lifted his gaze again, his eyes were mischievous. “Now, with that out of the way… Truth or dare?”
“Seriously? Right now?”
“Yes. C’mon, choose.”
I paused thinking about it. “Um, dare?”
“I knew you were a risk-taker.”
I shrugged and gave him a flirtatious smile. “Go on, what do you dare me to do?”
“I dare you to tell me what you want me to do to you tonight.”
I laughed. “We’ve gone over that a million times this week. I think you know.”
“Yeah, but it’s hot to hear you say it.”
I bit my lip. “For a minute, I thought you were going to dare me to blow you or something.”
Daniel glanced around. “Because of the curtains?”
“Isn’t that the whole point of them?”
His handsome eyes crinkled at the edges. “Probably.”
“Should I?” I waggled my eyebrows before lifting the tablecloth and looking beneath. “There seems to be plenty of room under the table.”
Daniel sucked in a breath, and his eyes dilated even more in the low light.
The curtain drew aside, and the waitress brought in our salads, putting them down in front of us. “Any parmesan?” she asked, holding up the grater.
Daniel accepted some and I did too. We ate a few bites as she tidied the table and then, when she closed the drapes again, we started to laugh. I wasn’t sure if I’d have gone through with it, or if Daniel would have wanted me to, but it’d been fun to tease and play.
After dinner, I buckled myself into the front seat of Betty Blue and waited for him to cross to the driver’s side. Daniel smiled at me as he started the car and put his hand on my knee, removing it only to shift the gears.
“Excited?” he asked.
“Beyond excited,” I whispered. “Edging into delirious.”
“Me too.” Keeping his eyes on the road, his right hand moved to my crotch, rubbing until I was so hardthat I thought I’d come in my pants. He adjusted his own cock a few times, too. I kept my hands to myself, trying to pace my excitement and not distract him from driving—at least not any more than he was already distracting himself.
Even though my hands were shaking and my legs felt jittery, as we pulled into the parking lot of the downtown Hyatt, I had no doubt this was where I wanted to be. I couldn’t wait to be alone and naked with him again.
This time we’d go as far as we wanted to, with nothing and no one to stop us, no memories or empty houses full of responsibilities weighing us down.
“Is this all right?” Daniel asked, peering up at the hotel. Concern tilted his mouth and brows. “I wanted to do this somewhere special. But…maybe a hotel is too impersonal?”
“Daniel, this is the nicest hotel in town.”
“Well, the Radisson is nicer.”
I snorted and stared up at the modern, A-shaped building. “Believe me, if this place has a bed, it’s going to be just fine.”
