She pushed herself to a seated position and stared up at the sky. Her skin began to itch. She looked down to see the area around her body starting to shimmer. Her dragon pushed herself forward, and Kaida could feel the calling shift as if it were screaming in her ears. The intensity of the itching grew, and Kaida could feel the urge to shift. She fought hard against it, knowing that this was not normal. Her dragon became unruly inside of her, roaring and scratching at the base of her skull, screaming to be let out. The itching turned into burning. The more she ignored it, the more intense it became.

Kaida screamed.

The feeling of strong hands around her underarms and ankles brought the fiery itching down a notch. Without her vision blurring, Kaida could see Arlo and Enzo carrying her up the stairs and into the house. She felt the softness of the couch on her back, and then Esen's face came into view. She could see their mouths moving but couldn't hear what they were saying.

Without their touch, her skin still felt like it was on fire. Kaida knew better than to use her claws to scratch her skin, so she rubbed her hands up and down her arms with her palm. Some relief came, but only on the part where her palm was touching her skin.

Arlo's arm came into view, and she felt him press it against her forehead. Kaida purred at his touch as it relieved the itching all over her body.

"Touch," Kaida whispered. "I need your touch."

Enzo's hands were against her legs, but the itching did not subside. Esen's hands were on her arms, and the itching continued there as well. Arlo rubbed her shoulders and up her neck; that was the only spot where her body did not feel like itwas on fire.

"Arlo, I need Arlo. It's only him that makes it stop."

Her hearing got better as Arlo continued to rub her down. The other two removed their touch, bringing the itching and pain back.

"Why is it only you? That makes no sense," Enzo asked.

"The only thing I can think of is because I am fully bonded to her. You two aren't, right?"

"No," Enzo and Esen said together.

Arlo tried to bring her relief, but he was only one person. He was not able to cover every area by himself. Kaida used her own hands to rub her legs by pulling her knees to her chest. She looked over to see Enzo and Esen with concerned looks on their faces. Both of them were bouncing on the balls of their feet. Seeing their mate in distress without being able to do anything about it made them crazy. Kaida shifted her focus to their bonds, which intensified the pain. As the area around her shimmered as the shift started to push through again, Kaida screamed. This time, the shift felt as if it was bringing the pain more than whatever was actually going on.

"I need this to stop! A shift is coming. I can't shift. I am losing control of her!"

The pain seared through her, and Kaida lost focus on everything around her. She writhed in pain, pushing her skin against the couch in hopes that it would bring some kind of relief. The boys were murmuring, but she could not make out the words. Her mind could only focus on keeping the shift from happening.

The scent of rain after a storm washed over her, and Kaida could feel Enzo’s lips pressed against hers. Her hands stopped rubbing her legs as they found Enzo's face. There was scruff from a beard because he had not shaved, and the gristle waswelcoming as it scratched her hands. Kaida moaned against his mouth as he deepened the kiss, and the itching began to subside.

"It's working. Keep going!" she heard Arlo exclaim.

She felt her pants being removed as the scent of the warm breeze mixed with the rain. Hot lips pressed against her legs and slowly made their way up. Another pair of hands went under her skin, and the electric feeling of their skin against hers had her arching her back. Her mind was slowly clearing, and Kaida could understand that Esen and Enzo were teaming with each other as the pain began to subside. Their bonds sparked, and feeling them all around her pushed the magic that had finally taken her over out of her mind.

Esen's claw then hooked around her panties as Enzo pulled her face to the side to give him better access to her. Enzo pushed her shirt to her neck next and then squeezed her breasts as Esen used his claws to rid the fabric from her body. Enzo kissed along her jaw as he unclasped her bra from the front. Kaida gasped as Enzo pinched her nipples and Esen swirled his tongue around her sensitive nub.

It was difficult with how she was lying to do anything, so Kaida wiggled herself to try to find a better way. Enzo's hands were underneath her arms and yanked her upward, placing her back against the back of the couch to have her seated. Esen pulled on her hips and opened her legs to give him better access. He was kneeled between her legs, giving her a hungry stare.

"More," she begged, but then her head was yanked back, and Enzo kissed her upside down.

Esen followed through and continued to use his tongue expertly between her folds and then deep inside her. Esen's golden yellow flame was darkest at the bottom and changed from ombre to white. His flame sat above hers, and Kaida saw a small silvery light touching each flame. Now, Enzo was underneath her, sitting up as he gently put her onto his lap. He adjusted himself, and she could feel his tip rubbing against her entrance. Enzo seemed to savor his time with her. He rocked his hips more slowly and kissed her so deeply that she was more lost in the kiss than anything else. As she felt the coil of pleasure in the pit of her stomach, Kaida leaned back and moaned. Enzo wrapped his mouth around her breast and flicked his tongue against her nipple. Enzo's flame burst underneath hers, flickering vibrantly as it strengthened. At the base was the brilliant blue of his dragon, then to a sky blue, and then to a bright yellow. The silvery string then connected to his, and all five of their flames danced in beat with her heart.

Kaida's vision cleared as she sagged against Enzo. He wrapped his arms around her, squeezed gently, and kissed her shoulder over his mark. The presence of her mates was stronger than ever. Without looking, Kaida could feel that Arlo was off in the corner, and Esen was by the couch. She heard shuffling and then a zipper being pulled up. Lifting her head and looking over her shoulder at them, both of the other guys were smiling.

"Well, that was intense," Esen joked around a smirk.

"What the hell was that?"
