He blushes and his hands settle on my hips. I squirm under his touch, wanting more but not wanting to scare him off. Although, he is reading gay romance. So that’s a good sign, right?

It’s a real damn good sign, if you ask me.

I love to get my hopes up.

“What do you think?” I ask, and his thumbs brush back and forth against me. Even over the shirt, the sensation of his touch makes my entire body tingle.

“I think they’re good. Real interesting.”

I grin at him, unable to hide how excited I am over this. “And the sex? What do you think?”

“I mean, yeah, it’s good.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah, I can see the appeal.”

“Oh. Max,” I say, nearly swooning. “You are just too much for me right now.”

He chuckles, and we grin stupidly at each other.

“Okay, well I have some suggestions. I’m gonna download some books for you to read.”

He nods as I start to search for books, his thumbs finding their way under my shirt. The sensation of his skin on mine forces me to bite back a moan. I should so move off his lap, but he doesn’t seem to mind, and fuck me, I’m one for torturing myself.

I really love it.

“Okay, there. All the good ones. Most are very steamy. I love sex.”

His eyes move to mine, and he swallows. “Yeah?”

“Yeah.”

“I guess I can see that. You know, with you fucking all the time.”

I gasp and set his phone down, pursing my lips. “Excuse me, Max. Are you judging me?”

“No, just calling it like I see it. And I’ve seen some things.”

My eyes narrow, and I lean closer to him, placing my hands on either side of his face and forcing him to look at me.

“What did you see?”

He doesn’t answer, and I wiggle on top of him, unsure how to get him to spill the beans. I want them spilled. I want to know what’s going on in that head of his.

“Please tell me. I wanna know.”

He glances away and wets his lips.

“At your parents’. I saw you with that cowboy guy.”

“Oh.”

All the air seems to be sucked out of the room, and I feel suddenly ashamed. I was just so desperate. I was so horny, and Diego was willing. It was either that or risk another wet dream next to Max.

And I couldn’t do that.

“I’m sorry you saw that.”
