She didn’t try to ease in with a few sucks and sensual licks; shorty went full throttle out the gate, making it even harder to concentrate. I’m almost positive that was the point. In no time, my balls were empty, and I was exhausted from trying not to let the flight crew know just how good Hailo’s mouth felt.

I was in for a surprise when we stepped off the plane and were greeted by Tyson, Mack, and Sky. My baby showed out for a real nigga’s birthday.

“Fuck y’all for keeping a secret,” I fussed, dapping Tyson up, then Mack.

“Payback, motherfucka,” Mack grinned. “Besides, I’m always picking Lo Diddy over you.”

“Thank you, Mack,” Hailo beamed, and all I could do was shake my head.

Hailo had a car service to take us to the villa she rented for the next three days. The island was beautiful, and I couldn’t wait to enjoy it with the people I loved.

“You deserve a break. You’ve been working hard,” Hailo mumbled, leaning against my side.

“Thank you.”

“No thanks needed. You give so much to me. It’s only right that I do the same. Just a reminder of who you’re dealing with,” She flirted in her own sarcastic way.

Hailo walked into my life and caused my heart to beat differently. The moment I saw her on the dancefloor in that orange dress, I knew I would never be the same. Even when life throws you a curveball, remember it isn’t all good or all bad, but it’ll be okay.

My wife was proof of that because not all angels were in heaven. My Hailo walked the earth just like everybody else.

Solana: Kyerra is keeping the baby, and Tyson isn’t answering. Check on him for me.

Me: Got you.

“Fuck.”

“What’s wrong?” Sky asked, standing in the mirror and adjusting her bathing suit. The sight of her in the sexy two-piece made my brain freeze temporarily. We’d been here for twenty-four hours, and she’d spent more time naked or in bathing suits than real clothes, but I damn sure wasn’t mad. Now I understood where Cam got her fascination with my parent's pool.

“Kyerra’s keeping the baby, and Ty’s not answering Sol. I need to check on him.”

“Oh shit,” Sky’s head whipped around, and her eyes ballooned. “So that means they have to,”

“Yeah,” I replied, answering the question I knew was coming.

“Why? I mean, everybody’s moved past me having a child that isn’t yours. What’s the difference?”

“The difference is she’s carrying his baby. There’s no exception for that,” I explained. Honestly, if Sky didn’t get shot and damn near died, I wasn’t sure if there would’ve been one for me, either. “The same rules applied for Gi and Lo Diddy.”

“Rules suck in DuPont Falls.”

She sounded just like Lo used to. She and Gi couldn’t get enough of each other these days, so there were fewer complaints.

“I’ll be back. Hopefully, it won’t take long.”

“I understand. It’s okay.”

Tyson had been playing it cool, but I knew he was worried. The longer Kyerra took to decide reality set in. He’d more than likely be stuck with her. Tyson didn’t even want to come on the trip, especially without bringing somebody, but I managed to persuade him anyway.

Knocking on Gi’s bedroom door, I playfully covered my eyes, yelling, “Is it safe to come in?”

“Yes, Mack,” Hailo chuckled

“Can I borrow your man for a few?”

“It’s his birthday. He’s the boss.”

“Oh really? So if I wanted to make another baby while we’re here, I could have that?”
