“You fighting tonight?” Raff asked, standing.
“Nah, I’m fucked. Dunno what I’m doing yet.”
“Does it depend on the little raven-haired beauty in there?”
“Raff, you know the deal. You know what I’m like,” I reminded him, grabbing my dick. “Once I’ve fucked her, I’m done.”
“So fuck her,” Raff said, his eyes glinting with the challenge.
“I will,” I said confidently. “When I want to.”
“Man, you chat shit. I see you.” Raff laughed, shaking his head. “We should go out and find new girls.”
“Is there even any left?” A voice snapped from the doorway, and Raff’s smile faded. “Maybe you’ll have to fuck the same girl twice; shock, horror.”
Ellie glared at Raff, and I swore her eyes shone.
“What the fuck is your problem?” I asked gruffly as Ellie shook her head at Raff.
“Anyone butme, right? Because I’myourfucking sister.” She directed the last part to me, and I frowned, realisation dawning on me.
Raff’s backed away from her.
He stared at the floor, and a hardened expression took over his face as he looked back at Ellie.
“You’re my best friend’s sister, Ells. You don’t shit on your doorstep.”
Ouch.
I averted my eyes as Ellie nodded, tears streaming down her face. “I see. Well, then, maybe you should move fucking house.”
With that, she turned and walked away, slamming the door behind her.
“So you’ve decided not to bother,” I said, pursing my lips together.
“Yeah,” Raff said hoarsely, forcing a smile on his face. “I need a drink. You down?”
“Yeah.” I nodded, pushing the bowl away.
I’ve lost my appetite.
Chapter Eighteen
JESSICA
When your friend got the red lipstick out, you knew it meant war. I'd also pulled out the stops tonight- I wore my PVC leggings and a silky camisole that had chains for straps (super sexy—I know), and I'd teamed it up with my killer stilettos. I fastened the clasp on the chunky gold bracelet on my wrist, watching as Ellie applied dark eyeshadow to her lids.
"Raff must be fucking stupid; you'resobeautiful," I sighed, gazing at my best friend.
She looked at me in the mirror, shaking her head as she switched the brush to her other eye. Her blue eyes stood out so clearly that they looked like contact lenses.
"Raff,who?"
I chuckled, turning to examine myself from the rear view of the mirror.
I look good.
Ellie finished applying her makeup, and we gathered our things.
