“Really? I didn’t expect you to agree.”
“Why would you ask for leniency if you didn’t want it?”
“I do! I just didn’t think you would go for it. This is new for me, but I promise I want this. You. Us. Logan.”
“Good. Now, continue your rant.”
Her mouth quirked into a smile. “It wasn’t a rant. It sounds like you’re caught in your head about what it means to be a brat. Why do you think I brat?”
“Hm.” I leaned down and captured one of her dusky pink nipples into my mouth, rolling it around my tongue. She gasped and threaded her fingers into my hair pulling me closer to her breast. I sucked on the tip before releasing it and doing the same thing on the other side. Karsyn bowed her back, softly cursing under her breath.
“It’s a good question,” I mused. “I suppose people brat for all sorts of reasons: more attention, a punishment, or maybe because deep down they needed reassurance. If you challenge me? I’ll match your energy. Then I’m chasing your bratty ass all over the place. Whether it’s physically or metaphorically speaking, I’m proving my dedication. I’m showing you my commitment.”
“Fuck! How do you do that?”
“Arouse you?”
“No, I am very aware of how often you turn me on,” she cooed. “I’m talking about your ability to somehow read my mind and give me the perfect answer I need.”
“I don’t have a ton of experience there, as much as I hate to admit it out loud. Everything I just said to you is why I’ve become a brat to Logan.”
Staring at my girlfriend, I kissed each of her pebbled peaks in turn. I had grown quiet while I was stuck in my head again, as she said, and I didn’t want her to doubt our relationship.
“It’s complicated, but it doesn’t need to be. I said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m not going to judge you, Sir.” Her gorgeous body beckoned me to continue our explorations, but she’d brought up a lot of insecurities, ones I needed to face before I threatened the stability of our throuple.
“I believe you, sweetheart. It’s getting late. How about we snuggle for a while until we fall asleep?”
“Yes, Daddy. I’d love to do that.” She smiled warmly, her tone inviting.
I fixed the blankets over us and wrapped my arms around her. “I apologize for letting things get in the way of our time together tonight.”
“A relationship isn’t all fun and games. We’re still figuring each other out. Slow and steady may not win the race but you always cross the finish line.”
“What?”
“I don’t know, I’m trying to reassure you, but my brain is a little fried this week.”
“Understood. Mmm. I do love how you fit against me. I’m glad you came over.”
“Me too, Daddy.”
Admitting everything out loud to Karsyn stole the wind out of my sails. I needed to have a serious discussion with my boyfriend about the lingering doubts stuck in my brain. He would take my concerns seriously and likely get to the bottom of the issue via one of the handcrafted paddles on his wall. I didn’t look forward to the conversation that followed but it would keep us on the same page. If I could stop overthinking everything would fall into place.
CHAPTER 13
KARSYN
A few weeks after my first visit to Creekside, I was back for a return. But it was different this time. Now I had both of my Dominants with me. Nerves prickled through me but I was more excited than scared or anxious. Since Logan owned the club, we were there in the middle of a random weekday afternoon by ourselves. We’d talked through the scene several times. I’d patiently explained my limits, plus things I was open to exploring. They were both willing to do whatever I wanted. Even with that knowledge, my nerves flared as we walked through the club. They led me into a huge private room. There were tables, couches, and an exam table in the far-left corner. I shook out my limbs, trying to ease my nerves.
“You can change your mind at any time, babygirl,” Logan said softly.
“I want to play,” I replied, scanning the room. “I have my safeword and my colors.”
“Yes, you absolutely do,” August agreed. “Why don’t you get undressed and put one of those nifty gowns on?”
He gestured toward the exam table where a pink hospital gown with ties lay folded on the edge. Walking slowly, I stepped to the table, gingerly picking up the gown. I raised an eyebrow and rubbed the material. It was softer than it looked, not scratchy like the ones you would find in a doctor’s office or hospital. Glancing over my shoulder, I saw August and Logan watching me. Something about their collective gazes on me prompted me to get undressed, slowly removing each part of my outfit piece by piece until I was naked with only the gown on my body.
“You’re so beautiful, Karsyn,” Logan breathed, rubbing the scruff on his beard as he so often did.
