“We knew,” Bryn admits again. “Sawyer, you must remember that we are working with Sin on official business, and neither of us expected you.”
“Oh.” Indignation swells inside of me. “You never thought that you’d ever see me again.” To be fair, I never thought that I’d see them either. It’s why I allowed myself to fall into their arms and let them sweep me up like the princess Sin calls me.
“Sawyer, we didn’t even know your name,” Rumor argues, choosing a peaceful approach.
I just lost my job, so I’m not feeling very peaceful. “You knew my scent. That is just as good as my damn name.” I point a finger at each of them.
“Let me remind you that you recorded us.” Bryn holds his hands up as he drops the secret I thought I would take to my grave. In my defense, I didn’t even know my phone was still recording.
I never watched it back either.
“There’s a movie involved?” Sin perks up, and in a quick movement, he snatches my phone from my coat pocket.
Luckily, the screen remains locked.
Unfortunately, I should have known Sin watched me unlock the damn thing. He looks for a video that isn’t on my phone—at least not where he probably thinks he will find it.
“How did you know?” I ask Bryn.
“I saw you recording,” Rumor speaks up. “It was my job to make sure that the guys partied with supervision that night. I saw your phone’s light go off and went to investigate.”
My eyes fall closed as my emotional well runs dry. “I can’t deal with this right now.” I press the emergency button again and listen as the elevator whirrs back to life.
Only for Rumor to slam the damn button again.
I’d complain that they’d call the deltas, but this asshole is literally in charge of them, and Bryn, the other asshole, is some kind of superhero.
And I fucked them both. Actually, I fucked all three of them.
“Sawyer.” Bryn steps forward, his eyes darkening before he sweeps close and grips me by the back of the neck. Wings flutter in my belly a moment before he mutters, “Fuck it,” and slams his lips down on mine.
I should be angry.
Raging.
Instead of fury, desire flares hot in my belly as his lips brush across mine. His kiss feels right, like coming home. His body molds to mine, his lips take control, and his hands hold my face in place as he guides every movement.
Bryn kisses me with a passion so pent up, it damn near explodes out of him with each swipe of his lips.
My hands clench his shirt, and I drag him closer, pressing my body against his. Bryn tilts his head, deepening our kiss, swiping his tongue into my mouth and tasting me.
Every nerve ending comes alive, and for the moment, I lose myself in him as my body remembers his and just how good he can make me feel.
He nips my lips once, twice, before pulling back, his stormy eyes gazing down at me. “Whether or not you like it, Sawyer, you are stuck with the three of us.”
“So what” —I pull back— “are you proposing exactly?”
I feel Sin press his body against my back. The thumping of my heart jumps into my ears as the scent of my arousal deepens in the air.
“We can smell your need for us, princess.” Sin nips my ear before dragging his tongue down my neck. His lips latch onto the junction where my neck meets my shoulder, and he sucks.
I want them, and damn me, I want them here in this elevator. My pussy pulses, and my clit is about to beg one of them to touch me and take away the need spiking inside me.
“I’m proposing what Sin already proposed,” Bryn says, his eyes dipping to my lips. His own are covered in my favorite shade of lipstick, and he doesn’t wipe it off his face.
“If we present to the world that you are a part of our pack…” Rumor nudges Bryn to the side so he, too, can step close. “Then perhaps whoever is taking gammas won’t take you as well.”
“So, a fake relationship?” Why does that make this even worse?
