“Cooper actually won the ‘guess the size of Molly’s belly’ competition. He, of course, gave his prize to Peyton.”

“Of course, he did. What was the prize?”

“A manicure set with nail polish, lotion, and other things like that. Cooper did promise to let her paint his toenails blue.” I laughed out loud, but that didn’t surprise me at all.

“What did the guys get you as gifts?”

“They and some of your other teammates all went in together and got us two boxes of diapers in every size, from newborn to size 5. It was an awesome gift that we will definitely use! They also got us two little Raptor jerseys with your number 7 on them. They said it doesn’t even matter that you’re not a Raptor anymore. I cried, of course.”

“I’m so glad they did that. We have some pretty fucking amazing friends.”

“Yes we do! Oh! Guess what? Batter Up! and our apartment has drywall now! Stefan and I went over paint colors and wallpaper. It’s really looking like a bakery and house. He says it's still on track to be done by the time the babies come. As long as they don’t come early.”

“Next time you go there, do a video call. I want to see how it looks,” I said. “And tell those children of ours that they better not come too early because I want to be there when they are born. The off-season is the perfect time for them to be born.”

My wife smiled and said she hoped they stayed in as long as possible.

“So, what were some of the best gifts you got?”

“Julia and Rob got the diaper bag I wanted. It has baseball stitching on it. Your mom got me the pregnancy body pillow I have been drooling over. I am going to sleep well tonight.”

“I’m glad she got that for you. She asked what you really needed, and that’s what I told her.”

“Thank you! I love it so much! Of course, we got a lot of gender-neutral and baseball clothing, baby toys, baby accessories, and gift cards.”

“Very nice!” I said. “How about your girls? I’m sure they went above and beyond.”

“Meadow and Pen definitely did! They got me a baby gift and a mommy gift,” my wife said, and I had to raise my eyebrows at the blush that crossed her freckled face. Interesting.

“What is a mommy gift?” I asked with a tilt to my head.

“Well, before I tell you about that, they got the double stroller I loved. It has cup holders along with sun shield canopies and tons of storage. But it has the feature I love the most. The seats are side by side so the babies will be able to see each other!”

“That sounds great. I really want to know about this mommy gift, though.”

“Well, they just gave it to me after they helped me take the gifts to the storage unit. I am glad that Dom, Ivan, and Cooper were there to help me move everything from my car. We got so much stuff! We are ready for the babies. Now, we just need a home to put everything in.”

“Molly…. I’m glad my guys helped you and that you got a lot of stuff, but stop stalling. What is a mommy gift? Your face goes all red every time it’s mentioned.”

Molly took a deep breath and then asked me if I was alone. At my nod, she held up a box that read: “The Tulip: A woman’s adult vibrator for clitoral pleasure.”

I’m not sure what I expected, but that was not it. I was knocked off my feet, literally. I sat down on the bed and palmed my aching cock. It had been 5 long weeks since I saw my girl, and our last time together had been in the dugout. The thought of her having a toy to use brought a smile to my face. Tonight, I could pretend she was with me.

“Want to try out that flower tonight? You can pretend it’s me, and I’m there with you.”

“Are you… are you wanting to have phone sex?”

“Baby, I’d much rather have the real you, but this is the next best thing. I can’t believe we haven’t tried this earlier,” I said with a smirk into the phone camera. “Now, the real question is are you alone?”

“I am. Pen took the kids to Peyton’s gymnastics class, and Meadow and Emma went with them. I do love how they all get along. I think Shiloh is studying with a friend. It just sucks that my room is out in the open.”

“I can’t wait for our apartment to be done,” I said with a groan. “Is that flower thing waterproof?”

“Hmmm, let me see,” Molly said as she looked at the box. “Oh! It is!”

“Pen has a bathtub, right?”

“Yes, she does. I’ve used it every night. It seems to be the only back relief I get,” Molly replied. “Are you going to take a bath, too?”
