He snorted. “Okay, maybe you are uptight.”

“You didn’t say that when I had your cock down my throat this morning,” Jonah teased.

Felix thwacked Jonah’s side, making him let out a muffled oof.

“No, but I said a lot of other things.” Felix grinned, remembering.

“Yeah, and you were so loud I was worried Grandma was going to hear us!”

“Isn’t that just another point in the ‘we should buy this place from her’ column?”

Jonah seemed to consider it for a minute, then nodded. “So, are we doing this?”

“I think we are.”

“Are we ready for this?” Jonah asked.

Felix nodded. “I know we are. And honestly, I’m excited.”

Jonah tilted his chin up. “Good.”

Felix pressed a kiss to Jonah’s forehead. “Now that we’ve decided that, do you want some tteokbokki chips to celebrate?”

Jonah laughed. “I’d love some.”

“Okay, well you’re going to have to get up and get them. Because if I do, I’m going to dump us both on the floor,” Felix warned.

“You’re the worst,” Jonah said, but he was smiling as he carefully slipped out of the hammock and went to fetch some from the nearby crate shelf.

“That’s not what you said last night when I was licking your ass.”

Jonah threw the bag at Felix’s head in answer.

When the snacks had been demolished and Felix was licking his fingers clean, Jonah glanced at him. “You know, for years, I’ve been wanting to see what these tasted like on your lips.”

Felix grinned. “What’s stopping you?”

“Nothing, now.” Smiling, Jonah leaned in and kissed him.

After Felix licked the sweet, tangy, spicy flavor from Jonah’s lips, he pulled back and looked him in the eye. “What do you think?”

Jonah smiled. “Even better than I’d hoped.”

“The postseason was cut short for the Fisher Cats,” Liz Newman, co-host of the Puck Thoughts Podcast, said. “How do you plan to spend the remainder of your summer?”

Jonah glanced over at Felix. “Well, we’re planning a move soon. We bought a house—the house I grew up in, actually—and we’re having some work done on it. Dustin Fowler’s husband, Charlie Monaghan, is doing the design.”

“That sounds exciting. So, I take it the rumors that this engagement is fake are completely unfounded then?” Tad Taber, the other host, asked.

Felix made a sound of disbelief. “Who fakes an engagement? That sounds like a lot of work to me.”

“Well,” Liz said, clearing her throat. “Your reputation was a bit … tattered for a while.”

Felix nodded. “That’s true. But it’s also true that I love Jonah. I am in love with Jonah. I want to marry him and spend the rest of my life with him. If that somehow improves my image, great. But that’s not why I’m with him. I’m with him because he’s been by my side through all of the big moments in my life with unwavering support. The good and the bad.”

“Speaking of the bad, how do you feel about your sobriety journey?” Tad asked.
