“Yeah. Aaron came up to tell us everyone is going for an evening swim so have your bathing suit on when you go down to the meeting in the living room.”

“Oh, okay. Thank you again for grabbing my bag for me.”

“No problem.” I drag my feet until I'm sure there is no reason for me to linger any longer. I turn around only to be stopped by Wisteria.

“You, um, want to go down on me… with me, with me? You want to go down with me? To the living room?”

I fight to hide my smile but give her a resounding answer to both of her questions. “Yes, Winnie. I would love to.”

Chapter Fifteen

Wisteria

God! I can’t believe I just fucked up like I did! Did I really ask Banner if he wanted to go down on me? How fucking embarrassing. And after he was so sweet to me. He must think I am nothing but a perv. Good God! Why can’t I just be cool with him? Why do I have to be so fucking awkward?

I drag my feet a little longer than necessary after I dress in my bathing suit, not wanting to meet him in the hallway even if he did act like nothing happened. Banner might have come off as an asshole at first but since then he has been nothing but a sweetheart. Still, I don’t want to keep him waiting, or any of the others for that matter.

It gives me the courage to go meet him. Like I knew he would be, he’s standing in the middle of the hall. Waiting on me.

“Ready to go?”

“Yeah.” We go down to find most of the others are already in the living room.

I wait for Banner to move off somewhere else but instead, he just stands close to where I take a seat on the couch. Everyone looks very relaxed and most of them didn’t even bother to put clothes on over their bathing suits. I note that Aaron is being very attentive to Rachel, but she isn’t giving the attention back. Instead, she is giving her smiles to Cord who is ignoring her. Is this the beginning of a love triangle?

“Okay, everyone is here now,” Sarah speaks up and I can’t help but wonder if me and Banner were the last people to come down. “Great. Great. I think we can all agree this is far more beautiful than we all expected. I know you guys want to go swimming, which is wonderful. I think we are going to try to come together for a movie marathon one of the days we are here and if you all are game there is a pool table, a library with what I am told is an excellent and wide variety of books as well as two hot tubs outside on the lower floor. I think we should all try to do something together every day. And as always, I am open to suggestions so please feel free to come to me with any you have. That’s pretty much all I got so you guys are free to go on down to the lake and have fun.”

“Aren’t you coming with us, Sarah?” Rachel asks our new director.

“Not tonight. I want to work with Tina on things that might be good to do while we’re here. But I might join you all next time.”

We all say our goodbyes to Sarah and make our way down to the lake behind the house. The back of the property is even more beautiful than the front. Rock and glass are everywhere and there are tons of chairs placed strategically to take a seat if you feel like resting or sitting and talking. We take the stone steps down to the water.

“Oh wow, can you believe this place?”

Rachel goes all the way out on the attached dock, which is huge enough to throw a party on, and quickly takes her shorts off, so she is left in only her bathing suit. She dangles her legs over the edge and leans back tipping her face up to the sky. I threw on another tank and some shorts over my bathing suit. The guys are on the other side of the dock pushing one another into the water. I take my shirt off but leave my shorts on as I go to sit next to Rachel.

“This is the perfect place to get lost and have a fast, fun affair, don’t you think, Wisteria?”

I blank out for a moment, not knowing exactly how to take that. “Um…I guess so. I don’t…really know, to tell you the truth.”

“You don’t?” I shake my head. “Huh, that’s kind of surprising.”

“Why?”

“Well, look at you, girl. You’re gorgeous and you have a set of boobs people pay money for. That’s got to be like a high price if you go get them done.”

I’m still a little surprised by her but give her a shy grin. “Really?”

“Yeah. Don’t try to hide it. Be proud of it. Now tell me, do you think I should try to go for something with Cord while we’re here or wait until we are back in the city?”

“I…well, um, I think Aaron likes you.”

“Yeah, but he’s like a brother to me. I could never…you know.”

No. I don’t know, but I can try to fake it. If she wants to go after Cord, who am I to tell her not to? Why is she going after Cord when Banner is right in front of her? My eyes trail over to him even though I try not to pay him any attention. Well, any more than I would the other two actors. No matter what I do, my gaze keeps going back to him.

Beside me Rachel’s eyes go big and round and the next thing I know she is in the water. She lets out a loud scream before going under the surface. I immediately raise my legs up out of the water. But in seconds Rachel comes up sputtering and giving Aaron a big push when he pops up beside her. “You ass!”
