“If she likes Eton and me, there’s a chanceshe might like the grumpy third brother, too.”

“I like the way you two are fixing me up witha woman I’ve never met,” he said.

“You’d love her.” I held my hands infront of my chest, gesturing the shape of huge boobies, then I movedthem down and in for the narrow waist and out for wide hips. It wasan exaggeration, but it gave a picture. She was a real, curvy, sexywoman. It was difficult to take my eyes off her. Every part of her.“She’s stunning.”

“Lots of women are stunning. If I’m goingto spend time with her, she has to be more than good looking.”

“I can confirm, just as Eton said, she’ssweet, funny, and sharp. I haven’t found out whether she’s aslovenly housekeeper and a terrible cook, but we don’t need thosethings. She’s good company.”

“And you know that from just one afternoon?”Harry raised one eyebrow.

“You’re right; we hardly know her. But mostoften, when you spend an afternoon with someone you know, youwouldn’t want to live with them for the rest of your life. When youmeet someone, and it seems like there might be a chance, well, it’sworth giving it that chance.”

“Okay. I’ll give it a chance. But tonightyou guys are going to meet Derry. I’m playing with my new toys. Andtomorrow we’re meeting our father; I suppose that won’t take upthe whole day. Then we’ve one more day here before going home toNew York. Even if we spend all our spare time with this lady and turnour seduction techniques up to top-notch, I can’t see her droppingher life here to come and be a New York housewife to three guys.”

“Thanks for the reality check,” Etonmumbled.

“But she might consider giving things a trywith three guys who were setting up an animal sanctuary. She mightwant to come and be a part of that,” I offered.

Harry stared at me in disbelief. “But whatabout you, Finn? Are you in for that?”

“I’m not sure. I’d like to be in. I’djust have to work things out. Dad asked us to meet him here for areason. Perhaps he’s doing more work for the Brettons and wants meto work on the project. Perhaps things will work out if we relocatehere for a while.”

Harry picked up his phone and tapped at thescreen. “You guys need to go right now. It’s Derry. He’salready at the bar, and Liam is there too.”

CHAPTER THIRTEEN

SIENA

The afternoon with two of the hottest guys I’dever met left me in a complete mess. I didn’t want the afternoon toend, and so I waited until the very last minute before saying that Ineeded to get home and get ready for work.

Being a gentleman, Eton accompanied me in thecab, along with his brother. I would have loved to have invited themin, but I didn’t have enough time to offer a drink. After a quickpeck on the lips that was barely a kiss at all, I jumped out of thecab and waved goodbye.

It was supposed to be a date; at least, thatwas what I had thought. But we had Eton’s brother chaperoning usthe entire time. Strangely enough, that turned not too bad at all,because his brother was just as lovely. And I sure shouldn’t bethinking that in real life about real people.

To add to my confusion, I got the impressionthat Finn might have been blatantly flirting with me in front of hisbrother. Or perhaps it was playful banter. It was harmless fun, andEton didn’t seem to mind or even notice, so I may have been readingmore into it than was there.

I had to question my motives, though. I’dhave been happy to go home with either one of those guys after alovely afternoon. Just being with them turned me on. I didn’t havetime to consider things, because I’d left myself only enough timeto get to work.

Have some fun, Gill had said. The other girlshad said the same. And I couldn’t fault their logic.

For Gill’s sake as much as my own, I wantedmy first night to be a great success. She’d done a lot for me,setting up this opportunity, and I owed her.

For once I wasn’t early and didn’t lingerin the bar; I rushed through to the back to join the dancers in thedressing room.

We called it a dressing room, although thatmade the cramped space seem far more glamorous than it was. It wasmore like a large closet with lockers, hooks, and hangers for clothesand a couple of full-length mirrors.

Thankfully, the girls had sorted me out thenight before, and I didn’t allow myself any time to worry about thejob today. I arrived just in time to throw myself in at the deep end.

“Hey, I heard you’re joining me. We’reboth going out there together same time. It’s great to have youalong for the ride.” Holly was Megan’s sister, and they had thesame long dark hair and talent at pole dancing. At least with Hollyon at the same time as me, no one would expect me to use it.

“Yeah, I’m a little bit nervous, butnothing ventured, nothing gained. I’m willing to give it a try.”

“You know the saying, girl, do or do not,there is no try, and you’re gonna go out there and do it good. I’msure you’ll do great.” Holly was wearing sparkly silver shortsand a matching sequin top.

“Wasn’t Megan wearing that yesterday?”

“She may have been. You’ve caught me out. Ididn’t go home last night, so I didn’t get to pick up my stuff;you know how it is. I’ve just raided the emergency costumedepartment.”
