“We did hear congratulations are in order.” Spike told her pulling the bags gently out of her hands.

She narrowed her eyes at them. “So you all heard that dinner farse?” They nodded.

“And, the ….. interlude earlier.” Crash told her leaning on the wall.

What fucking interlude? What the hell was an interlude?

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“Marcus. Finally got his balls out of his pants and into yours. Your mom is looking forward to those babies.” Crash told her winking.

She froze. Her face dropped. “What?”

“The fucking, Moon. You remember that? In the dojo. You screamed loud enough so did he.” Comet told her smirking.

“There was no fucking! Listening in on other people’s conversations is rude. Third base…. maybe.”

“So his cock wasn’t ploughing into you? Cos I gotta tell ya, it sounded like it he was giving it to you good.” Spike asked curiously.

Her eyes flared hearing it taking a step back. She narrowed them at him. “Did he tell you that?” She gritted her teeth.

The door opened and Marcus walked in. He looked happy as fuck. She saw red. He was all up in her business and she didn’t like it one god damn bit, taking over her family and now her quad. Walking right up to him she punched him hard across the face.

“You told them you fucked me!?”

He held his face. “Jesus woman I didn’t tell them a fucking thing!”

“Right…… cos you’re so fucking good at keeping your gob shut. What was all that shit about ‘coming’ to an understanding with my parents? There’s no fucking understanding.” The guys sniggered. She looked at them. “Shut it!”

“There was plenty of coming.” Marcus told them grinning at her like a Cheshire cat of old. Like this was funny. He had no fucking clue how to treat a woman. She stood frozen in place, then slapped him hard.

He’d actually said that in front of her uncles!

She pulled a knife and Crash grabbed her wrist shaking his head taking it from her.

She sneered at Marcus. “You….. fucking asshole. I really hate the sight of you. And… there he is. Thank you Marcus, for yet again reminding me what an absolute fucking asshole you really are. How fucking poorly you treat women. No woman worth her salt would consider being with you. It’s a god damn conspiracy and I want out. That’s it I’m done.” She pointed at Marcus. “Stay the fuck out of my life and you lot.” She looked at her quad disgusted. “You disappoint me.” Body checking Marcus with an elbow she walked out.

They were all assholes. “Assholes!” she roared. “The lot of you!”

She didn’t need her bags; they could fucking keep um. Going back to her parent’s apartment, she avoided them bigtime, going to her old room to change her clothes, grateful her mother still did her laundry, grabbing another change to go, stuffing them in a backpack along with a couple of towels and soap, her spare bow and arrows, loading up with weapons and ammo, lastly, grabbing a camo sleeping bag and poncho and left. Stopping by her father’s office she left a note.

Gone fishing!

She was going hunting and wouldn’t be back for a few weeks. Maybe she’d stay out for good. Who knew! She needed some god damn air.

“Well that went well.” Hawk told him dryly.

Marcus turned on him. “What the fuck did you say to her?” he was fuming. He’d come to make peace, hoping for her pussy in his mouth and got a fist in the face and a slap for good measure.

“We heard the two of you in the dojo, kept people away to give you two some alone time. Teased her a little about it and the dinner. Now normally, she’d have given us shit right back but not today. Whatever just happened, you affect her Marcus. Not that that is a surprise, you always did. She was running and we stopped her.” Spike told him.

“She’s still running. She won’t be pushed.” Comet told him.

He gritted his teeth. “Yeah well, her mother just dropped the Love H Bomb and she hit the roof, when it was followed up by the babies’ demand, let’s just say the fallout had nothing on that nuclear disaster we were facing. Why can’t everyone stay the fuck out of my life.”

“Cos you keep fucking it up. Too late now. You want to be in hers, we’re a package deal.” Crash told him grinning. “You always knew that.”

“That damn pact needs breaking. I told you not to get too involved, but you couldn’t stay away from the child and now the woman, and look where that’s got me. My ass dragged in cos I couldn’t stay away from her any longer.”
