Page 54 of One is Never Enough

“We were all at a party one night. It was some stupid frat party, and it was out of control. Anyway, Jace, Toby, and I got separated somehow, and I ended up near Trent. He apologized for how he acted and gave me a drink. The next thing I remember is one of the frat guys busting into the room and pulling Trent off me.”

“He drugged you?” Oliver’s face has gone pale, and he’s clutching Aiden’s hand like a lifeline.

“Yeah. He already had my pants and boxers off by the time the guy interrupted.”

“Did he…?”

“No, but he almost did. That’s the kind of person Trent is, Oli. I know you have a contract with him, but you are to never go to these meetings alone. One of us or Cass needs to be with you at all times.”

“What happened after that? Did he go to jail?”

I shake my head. “No. Jace and I served up our own justice, and he disappeared after that. I knew he was back, but I hadn’t seen him.”

“Your own justice, huh?” Oliver asks with a small smile.

“We beat the shit out of him,” I laugh, remembering it like it was yesterday. Aiden was fucked up for weeks over what happened, and we couldn’t stand it anymore. Especially since Trent was still walking around campus like nothing happened because Aiden wouldn’t report it. Aiden was still very much in the closet then, and he was embarrassed. So we did the next best thing. “It wasn’t a fair fight, but we couldn’t let what he did go.”

“He deserved everything he got,” Oliver says angrily. “I’m so sorry that happened, Aiden.”

“It could have been a lot worse. I heard rumors after that night. I wasn’t Trent’s first victim, and the rest weren’t as lucky as me.”

“I don’t want to work for him anymore.”

“I can call Vince and see what we can do to get you out of the contract,” I offer.

“What does Vince actually do?”

“He’s a lawyer,” Aiden answers, waiting for Oliver to picture the Vince he knows as a lawyer. “So is Zac.”

“I never would have seen that coming,” Oliver laughs. “But can you? I don’t want my name associated with him.”

“Consider it done, Baby.” I pull out my phone and dial Vince’s number then flip it to speakerphone.

“What, fuckface?” Vince answers.

“I have a contract question.” Oliver gives him the rundown, and Vince sighs.

“You’ll have to pay back the advance, of course, but the rest of the contract sounds ironclad. I can come over later and look at it.”

“We need him out of this contract,” Aiden responds. “It’s Trent McCall.”

Vince growls under his breath. “That piece of shit. Yeah, I’ll come over and work on it. I have a meeting at three, but I’m free after.”

“Thank you, Vince,” Oliver says. “I’ll fix dinner, and you can bring Zac.”

“Or you can have Leland tied in a pretty bow when I get there.”

Oliver laughs. “I don’t know about that.”

“Eventually, he’ll see what he’s missing. I have to go. I’ll see you guys later.”

The call disconnects, and I can already see the wheels spinning in Oliver’s head.

If Vince and Zac want an ally to get Leland, they have one in Oliver.

I called Jace to let him know what was going on after the phone call with Vince. I left Aiden and Oliver in Jace’s office to go to the store to get Oliver what he needed for dinner. What I didn’t expect when I walked back in the house is Oliver bent over the arm of the couch with Aiden balls deep in his ass.

“Fuck,” Oliver moans when Aiden pulls out slowly and slams back inside him. I decide to give them their moment, but no way am I not watching this. “Aiden.”
