“Sure I do. I fucked you, and really, that’s all I wanted—” Probably not the best thing to joke about, I realized, because in the next moment, Ash was on top of me, pinning me down on the bed now, her eyes furious.

“Take that back,” she whispered in mock rage. She lowered her head to mine, her hair draping around me and blocking out the rest of the world. One of her hands moved to my neck, and her fingers curled around it. Not hard, but hard enough.

A habit of Travis’s that had rubbed off on her, if I had to guess. Trav had a very…domineering way about him in the bedroom.

“What happens if I say no?” I asked, feeling her hand around my throat with every word spoken. Not going to lie, my dick was still rock hard, and the tip of it quivered when I imagined her on top, riding me to another orgasm.

“I’ll make you regret it.”

“How? By being on top? Please say yes—”

Her nose grazed mine, her lips brushing mine just enough to elicit a rapidly-beating heart in my chest. “By leaving you all hot and bothered with nowhere to go.”

“You are too cruel.”

The hand around my throat moved to my chest, and her finger circled a nipple. A peculiar sensation, but something that made my cock twitch nonetheless. “Maybe, maybe not. I won’t be cruel if you take it back.”

The smirk on my face faded as I met her eyes. “You want me to lie? Because I did win, and you’re the best prize anyone could ask for.” I reached up, tucking some of her wild hair behind an ear. She sat on me, straddling me, and yet it was like she weighed nothing. “Just because I win doesn’t mean I’m going to run away. Sorry, Ash, but you have this dick for the long haul.”

Ash grinned, and—I shit you not—I felt it in my chest. No one else’s smiles could affect me the way hers did, no one else’s pouts could tug at my heart like hers. She was…God, she was finally mine.

“I guess,” she spoke slowly, inching her way down my body, stopping when her ass rubbed against my rock-hard cock, “I’ll have to learn how to deal.” And then, without saying another word, she lifted herself up, my cum dripping out of her cunt, and lowered onto me.

I swore again. If this was what my life would be like, I could definitely do the same and, in her words, learn how to deal.

Chapter Twenty-Three – Will

I tried not to let what was happening in the room next door get to me, but surrounded by Declan and Travis, it was impossible not to. I heard the moans, the bed rocking. I heard more than I wanted to—and that was nothing. I didn’t want Ash with Sawyer. I never wanted them together.

I supposed, maybe, I simply could’ve told her that, but coming clean, telling her the truth…it just wasn’t in the cards yet.

Sawyer had laid his filthy hands on Ash, stuck his fucking dick in her like he owned her, and he would pay for it. Ash…I didn’t blame her. How could you blame a moth for being attracted to the flame? If you wanted the moth safe, you had to make sure the moth’s surroundings were flame-free.

Get rid of Sawyer, get rid of the flame.

Ash would thank me for it, later on, I knew it without a doubt. Ash would see how right I was, that what I was about to do would save us, save her.

While Ash and Sawyer were in the bedroom together, it stopped raining. Ash came out, tugging down her shirt and running her hands through her hair. She went straight to the nearest window, peering out. She’d hated being stuck inside all day, though she did have fun at Monopoly. Sawyer wore nothing but shorts, heading into the kitchen and grabbing a water bottle out of the fridge. He came into the living room and plopped himself down on the recliner Ash had sat in during the games. He set his bottle down on the coffee table, toying with the cap.

He was, of course, way too smug. His cheeks were flushed, and he smirked to himself.

I wanted to wipe that smirk off his face.

“I think it’s stopped raining,” Ash spoke, glancing at us. “Any of you want to go for a walk?”

Beside me, Declan stood up. “I’ve been going crazy locked in this cabin all day. I’m up for a walk.”

Travis got to his feet. “I’ll go.” He pointedly looked at Sawyer, who hadn’t said or done a thing, lifting a dark eyebrow, as if wordlessly telling him to come on.

Sawyer let out a groan. “Ugh, fine. I’ll go, too…since apparently we all have to be one big happy family.” He got to his feet and screwed the cap onto his water. “I’ll need to put some clothes on first, so wait up.”

“Will?” Ash asked, grey eyes expectant on me.

I gave her a smile. “Of course.”

Ash and Declan were the first by the front door, slipping on their tennis shoes. “What happens if we get caught outside in the rain?” Declan asked, causing Ash to laugh.

“Then I guess it’s a race back to the cabin,” she told him. “Twenty bucks says I win.”
