Page 30 of Her Forever Daddies

Jace: We had a good time too, baby girl. We can’t wait to see you again. Can you spend the day with us tomorrow?

Ruby: Yes.

Jace: Good girl. We can pick you up or you can meet us at the club, but we’d like to take you somewhere fun outside of the club.

Ruby: Oooh! I like fun!

Both Jace and Zane chuckled when they read her message.

Ruby: I’ll meet you at the club.

Zane: Meet us here at noon. Wear a pair of shoes that are comfortable to walk in.

Ruby: Yes, Zaddy.

Jace: Good girl. It’s time to get into your pajamas and go night-night. Get your paci and snuggle Hop close and think of your Daddies.

He hated not being there to tuck her in and read her a story, but he needed to be patient. They would get there at some point and then he’d tuck her in as often as possible.

Ruby: Okay, I’m tucked in and cuddling with Hop.

A picture came through of her holding the kangaroo with a plain yellow pacifier in her mouth. She looked sleepy and so adorable that it was painful.

Zane: Such a pretty baby girl. We are the luckiest Daddies in the world. Did you go potty before you got into bed?

Jace snorted at that. He knew Zane meant well but the man just didn’t know the term slow.

Ruby: Yes, Zaddy, I went potty.

Hmm… Maybe he didn’t need to worry about the pace Zane was going. Maybe the balance between them was a good thing.

Jace: Night, baby girl.

Zane: Sweet dreams, little one.

Ruby: Night, Daddies.

The guys made plans to take Ruby on an adventure day out. Since they didn’t know her likes and dislikes yet, they decided to play it safe and take her to the aquarium.

When she pulled up to the club right on time, Jace breathed a sigh of relief. The feeling of being let down in the past still weighed heavily on him. Anytime they’d ever started dating anyone, he always wondered how long it would last before the Little decided they were too much. And usually, it didn’t bother him all that much when the time came but with Ruby, it would hurt.

He met her at the front door and smiled down at her as she skipped through the parking lot toward him. She was wearing a t-shirt dress that came down to her mid-thigh and a pair of white Converse. The outfit was simple yet perfect for her. She still looked like a woman but also sweet and Little at the same time. The two large, messy buns she had on top of her head just added to her look.

“Hi, baby girl. I missed you,” he said, pulling her into a quick hug.

When she looked up at him, he noticed her blushing.

“I missed you too,” she said, holding onto the hand he held out for her.

“How’s our girl?” Zane asked, walking up to them.

“I’m good, Zaddy. Is this outfit okay?” she asked, looking up toward Zane for approval.

“It’s perfect, baby. You look cute as a button,” Zane replied.

Jace nodded, running his hand up and down her spine.

“Where are we going?” she asked.
