My thighs clench automatically and I relax over his shoulder, happy to let him fuck every fiery flame out of me until I crumple into a pile of ashes.

Chapter 36

Callie

He did indeed fuck the sass out of me…well, maybe not all of it. There’s always a healthy amount of sarcastic venom running through my veins, ready to spit at Sean anytime he needs his ego taking down a peg or two. But when his dick is so deep inside me that it feels like it’s protruding out of my stomach I don’t care to sass him at all, that man can do whatever he wants to me.

I gather the scattering of clothes from the ground, holding up my brand new, pink cocktail dress and peering at Sean through the gaping hole in the centre of it. He tore it off my body so aggressively that he practically shredded the thing.

“Shit, sorry,” he eyes me guiltily, “I'll get you a new one.”

“You better.” I point at him, warning behind the piercing of my eyes. The truth is I don’t really give a shit about the dress, it was worth having him tear it from my body like a starving man, eager to tuck into his favourite buffet.

I start to rummage through Sean’s wardrobe, certain I left an outfit here last week. “Aha!” I hold up my jeans and turtleneck in victory and Sean grins in my direction, flashing me his deep dimples.

“Hold on,” I lift the jumper to my nose, inhaling the heavy scent of lavender. “Did you wash these?”

He shrugs. “Yeah, so?”

I stare back at him wide eyed, mouth pretty much open for anything to fly in right now. I can’t believe he washed my clothes, he’s so fucking adorable sometimes.

“You good over there?” He snickers, standing up from the bed, my favourite part of him swaying as he moves towards me. “You’re turning my favourite shade of pink again.”

“I just…I can’t believe you washed my clothes for me.” I squeak. Why is there an actual tear threatening to spill over right now? Sean breathes a laugh and pulls me into him. “Baby, I only threw a jumper and a pair of jeans into a washing machine.”

“You don’t get it.” I huff, wriggling away from him and slipping the turtleneck over my head.

Sean pulls my curls out of the neckline and grabs my jaw, forcing me to look at him. “Actually Cal, I do get it. I know you’re not used to being looked after by anyone, Joel never did anything for you, so every tiny thing I do you think it’s a big deal. But you better get used to it, because I have no intention of ever stopping.”

“Why do you always do that?”

“Do what?” He smiles, running his thumb across my cheekbone. I dip my head, looking at the ground. “Make my knees weak.” Sean barks a sharp laugh. “You’re funny baby.” He picks his boxers up off the ground and pulls them up his legs as I slip my jeans on. “I don’t know why you’re getting dressed anyway, you’re not going anywhere.” I purse my lips and hold back the sarcasm I really want to fire at him. “You want me to stay over again? I haven’t seen the inside of my dorm for almost a week, don’t you want some alone time after today?” Sean shakes his head, his dark locks bouncing. “No, never want alone time.”

I sigh and smile at him, planting my hands on his golden chest. “You don’t need me attached to your hip at all times, you were fine before you met me.”

“No, no I wasn’t fine.” He lifts my chin with his finger, “Callie before you I was just me, and I never want to be just me again.”

I think I may just want to crawl inside his skin and live there at this point. “I need to go home,” I almost whisper, “I haven’t seen Molly for five days and it’s likely she’ll claw my eyes out when I do see her.”

I wait for Sean to look disappointed, to ask me not to go home and to stay with him, but instead he says, “Ok then, let’s go,” and starts rummaging under his bed, pulling out an overnight back and cramming it with clothes. He’s coming with me, of course he’s coming with me.

A light laugh falls from my lips and Sean looks up from his seat on the carpet. “What?” He says, eyes clouded with confusion.

I shake my head, smiling lovingly at him. “Nothing, come on.”

The door clicks open as I twist my key, the thing is nearly gathering dust I haven’t used it in so long. Sean goes ahead of me, carrying mine and his bag and dropping them to the ground in the hallway. As I move around him I see Molly curled up under a blanket on the sofa, ‘Real housewives of Cheshire’ playing in the background as she taps away on her laptop. She barely looks up as we enter but quickly does a double take when she sees Sean’s 6-foot-4 frame creating a shadow across our coffee table. I’ve been gone so long she assumed it was Anais, like it couldn’t possibly be me entering my own dorm with the key I've had since I moved in. Molly stands up, placing her laptop on the sofa and folding her arms. “Oh look, if it isn’t the best friend stealer.” She’s aiming her daggers at Sean, icy pools making him shiver with fear.

Sean holds his hands up in innocence. “I’m sorry, please don’t hurt me.” Molly strides across the room towards us both, pointing a daring finger at Sean. “You’re lucky you’re hot.” He plants a fleeting kiss on the crown of her head as she slides past him. “Ok, you’re forgiven.” She smiles, ensnaring me in a tight hug.

As her familiar peachy smell fills my nose I squeeze her harder, wanting to hold onto her forever. Molly has helped me through a lot since we met and I can never repay her for the support she gave me the first time my mum went through cancer treatment. She was my rock and now I have Sean too, I'm so fucking lucky.

Before I know what’s happening next my feet are lifted off the floor along with Molly’s as a pair of tree trunk arms wrap around us both. “Group hug!” Sean sings, holding the two of us in the air like we weigh no more than one of his goose feather pillows.

With my arms still around Molly’s neck I roll my eyes and whisper to her, “I’m sorry about him, he’s like an overexcited toddler at times.” Molly twists her face to Sean and grins. “He’s cute though, so it’s ok.” Sean finally puts us back on the ground and I reach for my bag which he quickly swipes out of my hand. I roll my eyes, his chivalry not lost on me but starting to get on my nerves tonight as I head for my bedroom. “You two better not have super loud sex like the last time you stayed here.” Molly huffs as I round the corner and push open my bedroom door, leaving it open so I can eavesdrop on their conversation. I love to hear Sean talk about me when he doesn’t know I'm listening.

I hear a loud laugh burst from Sean’s mouth. “It’s not my fault she’s so noisy.” Ok I take it back, the man’s a pig. Molly snorts a laugh and Sean continues, “You know, when Callie and I have sex is the only time she does as I tell her to.”

Molly fake gags loudly. “Ok, I really didn’t need to know that…like I really didn’t.”
