“You sure know how to keep a guy happy,” I say.
Harrison chuckles, pressing his hips tighter against me to try to keep inside. “Hopefully always.”
“Not possible. We’re bound to fight at some point.”
“You mean we haven’t fought enough already?”
I grin into the sheets, even though he can’t see me. “You’re dating a Dalton. We’re known for boneheadedness, so you should probably prepare yourself for that.”
“I’m prepared.”
“It’s okay. Once you meet Asher, he’ll make me look like a saint.”
“No one can make you look any better in my eyes.”
I groan and turn my head to the side. “No saying cutesy things around him either. He’ll never let me live it down.”
“Be extra sweet and mushy. Got it.”
“I’m really starting to doubt the whole you loving me thing.”
“That’s okay.” He rubs his nose behind my ear, and I wish I didn’t love it so much. “You deserve all the love and affection in the world, Benny-Wenny.”
Oh.
Fucking.
No.
“Shit.”
“What’s wrong?”
“I really am like Asher.”
Harrison waits me out, but I don’t even want to say the words. I can’t just leave it there though.
“My brother. He has a safe word. But not for sex, for affection. Because Kole likes to amp it up to embarrass him.”
Harrison pulls out and flops down beside me, wearing a smirk that looks annoyingly similar to the one Em and I share. “Let me guess. I’m a Kole.”
I pretend to sob.
“You’re in love with your brother-in-law.”
“Shut up.”
“You Daltons really are messed up.”
“Fuck off.”
Harrison hauls me against him. “I cannot wait to tell your brothers this story.”
And I don’t doubt for a moment that he will.
