I’m quick to shake my head. “I swear we won’t. I promise. I know that you wouldn’t know even if we did, but it won’t happen again.”

“Of course I’d know.”

I roll my eyes. “We’re twins, Harrison.”

“And?”

“And we’re identical. Even our brothers can’t tell us apart most of the time, unless they make us show them our hands, and I really don’t want to have to high-five every time I see you.”

Harrison makes a noise that’s a cross between a laugh and a groan. “I also don’t want to live in constant mistrust of you either. I’m not going to be demanding to see anything. I also don’t have to.”

“What do you mean?”

He’s quiet as we approach the DIK house, but I’m burning with curiosity now.

“What do you mean you don’t have to?”

“I’m worried it will come across a bit intense.”

“After everything I’ve just told you, I think you’ll be okay.”

“Fine.” He steps closer, hands on my hips as he looks down at me. “It’s your eyes, Benny. The whole time we were in class, I couldn’t figure out why I didn’t have the same reaction to you. I was happy to be with you and excited to see you, but there was nothing deeper. There were none of these nerves, and honestly, you just didn’t get my dick hard. It’s like I could sense it wasn’t you. Then after I knew, I took one look at Emmett in class and figured it out. You both have different eyes.”

“No, we don’t. They’re hazel. Exactly the same hazel. We are literally identical.”

“Maybe, but I’m not talking about the color. Yours make you look older. His make him look younger.”

That fills me with a vicious kind of happiness. I’m not even sure how to explain it, only that for the first time in my entire life, I feel like my own person. I love Em, I love being a twin, but this? Harrison being able to tell us apart? If he’s telling the truth, the man has just made me fall in love with him.

“Ha. Maybe I was right about him being younger, after all.”

“What do you mean?”

“Well, I’m the baby of the family, but I told Em there’s no way to really know he came out first. Who’s to say we didn’t get mixed up all the time as flesh monkeys?”

“Somehow, I don’t think parents do that.”

“If I had twins, I definitely would.”

“Noted. No children for you.”

I pull him up the stairs to the front of the house, then turn my back to the door before we go inside. “Good thing you can’t get me pregnant.”

“True.” Harrison steps in and presses me against the door. “I’ve really, really missed you, Benny.”

I melt against him. “I’ve missed you too.”

“Please tell me you have condoms inside.”

I nod so fast I’m surprised my head doesn’t fall off. “As many as we need. I’m not above raiding the other guys’ rooms.”

“Let’s just start with yours and see how we go.”

My dick likes the sound of that.
