“You like that, Mase?” I joked, moving her a little lower over him and making him groan.

“Fuck, dude. This is pushing the friendship a little.”

“Friendship? I thought we had something real going on,” I chuckled, knowing exactly when he was close to finishing by the way his thighs tensed and his breathing changed. When you fucked around in groups, you got to know your friends a little more personally than necessary.

I pushed Tempest’s mouth down firmly, holding her when he cursed out his release, only letting her pull back when I wanted her to. She choked on the air as it hit her lungs, and I grabbed her clothes off the floor and tossed them at her.

“Get dressed, find your keys, and let’s go. I’ll even stop for coffee if you’re fast.”

Coffee was a good way to bribe her, she seemed to love it as much as money, so I knew it would work.

Sure enough, she was showered, dressed, and in her car within fifteen minutes.

Tempest

Ryder followed me to the diner, looking like a fucking snack as he climbed out of his car. I shamelessly checked him out, making him smirk, but he didn’t say anything as we walked inside together.

He ordered us both a coffee, knowing exactly how I liked mine, and I was a little surprised when he ordered food too. I expected him to shoo me back out to the car to get on the road, but he motioned for me to follow him to sit at a table.

“Are you my sugar daddy now?” I joked, making him chuckle as he glanced at me from across the table.

“No, why? Do you need something?”

“I need lots of things. Caffeine, new shoes, pretty nails?—”

“I’m not buying you shoes, you have plenty,” he cut in, staring at my hands for a second before adding, “But if you want your nails done, I can pay for that.”

“Wait, seriously?” I asked slowly, not understanding why.

“Absolutely. I like how your hands look wrapped around my cock with those talons of yours,” he winked. “Do you need me to pick up anything else from your parents’ place? Or did you get it all?”

I relaxed, tangling my legs with his, and for once, he let me.

“I think I got it all. Thanks for this, Ry. I know I’m not your problem, so I appreciate you helping me. Even if it’s only so I keep fucking you.”

He snorted, leaning back in his seat to watch me. “You’d keep fucking me anyway. I don’t have to bribe you into my bed.”

He wasn’t exactly wrong about that.

A bowl of fruit and yogurt appeared in front of me, and he motioned for me to eat it as a plate of eggs and bacon was placed in front of him. I wasn’t going to say no to free food right now.

We ate silently, and I couldn’t help but watch him. He was way too attractive, and I hated to admit it, but he was also being a pretty good friend to me lately.

I didn’t really have many of those.

“Mom’s okay with you staying tonight, but we’ll have to find somewhere for you to live. You can’t live at my place,” he warned, catching me looking at him again.

I sipped my coffee, wincing slightly at his words. “I don’t have anywhere else to go.”

“We’ll find somewhere. Maybe you should take the rehab option.” My eyes narrowed, and he huffed out a breath. “I know you don’t want that, but they give you a roof and food.”

“I’m not fucking going, so stop telling me to.”

“I was just trying to help, Temp. You can’t stay with Mase, and you can’t stay with me. Figure out a plan,” he said sternly, draining the rest of his coffee before standing and dropping a few bills on the table.

I stood too, following him back outside to the cars and grabbing his wrist before he could get in his. “Hey. I mean it, thank you.”

He shook me off and grumbled. “You’re welcome. Let’s go.”
