“Do we have a curfew then?” He opened his door and started to get out.
“Not on your life.” I heard his light chuckle as he closed the door behind himself.
I watched his easy swagger as he strolled around the front of the car and to my side. He opened the door and offered me his hand. “Shall we?”
I took it. I didn’t know where we were going or what we were doing, but my heart was hammering in my chest with delight. No one had treated me like this before. I was lucky to get a slice of pizza and a drink out of most guys. But Grayson clearly took the time to plan this. To do something special just for me. When I rose to my feet, he didn’t let go of my hand. We walked to where a man in a pilot’s uniform stood at the foot of the steps.
“Mr. Shade, a pleasure to see you again.” He was an older man with gray hair fanning back from his temples and deep smile lines around his face.
“Gerald, always good to see you. Allow me to introduce my date, Ms. Santiago.” He motioned to me.
I offered the pilot my hand. “Nice to meet you.”
“Lovely to meet you, Ms. Santiago.” He quickly shook my hand then smiled at the both of us. “Flight time is only an hour, so please make yourselves comfortable.”
Grayson stepped to the side and let me go up the stairs first. When I entered the plane, I sucked in a breath. It was like something out of a movie, with plush carpeting, beige leather seating and dark wooden accents. It was masculine but classic. Dots of sunlight streamed in through the little round windows that lined each side of the plane. To my left was a long couch with two lounge chairs, all surrounding a low table. I walked farther into the plane, feeling overwhelmed. “Nice wings you got here.”
They both chuckled behind me, and I turned around to face them. The pilot gave me a small nod. “My co-pilot is getting things all set. If you need anything, just pick up that phone.” He pointed to it, on the wall near the front. “Otherwise, we’ll have the door locked up tight.”
“Thank you, Gerald.” Grayson gave him a clap on the shoulder, and they went in opposite directions. The pilot found his way to the cockpit, and Grayson strolled past me to the back of the plane.
He opened a cabinet and grabbed two bottles of water. “Drink?”
“Please.” I dropped into one of the chairs as Grayson fell onto the center of the couch. He spread his arms across the back of it.
The stairs rose and the door slammed shut, sealing us into the cabin alone. I opened the water and took a sip, trying to calm my nerves. “Do you always travel like this?”
“No.”
“So, this is new for you, too?” I glanced out the window as the engines started.
He met my gaze. “No.”
“How very cryptic of you.” I crossed my legs and his eyes landed on my thighs. I felt them on me, and it heated my skin.
The plane turned to the side and started moving down the runway. “Are you going to tell me where we are going?”
“No.”
“A man of few words tonight.” I ran my hand over the leather seats and then down my legs. He tracked my every move.
He crooked his finger at me and gave me that half-cocky smile. I rose to my feet and sauntered over to him. But I didn’t sit beside him. I waited there, standing with my legs touching his. The warmth from his legs seeped through his pants and into my legs. Grayson tilted his head back and peeked up at me, then he sat forward and ran his hand over the back of my knee. His fingers drifted up my thigh and I widened my stance, giving him more space to move. A tremble ran over my body, and I couldn’t hide the anticipation I felt for his touch. When the tip of his finger toyed with the edge of my panties, I gave a little sigh.
“Don’t tease me.”
“A tease would imply I’m not going to do anything, and I plan on doing many, many things.” He slid them to the side and ran his finger over me. Back and forth at a slow, tantalizing speed. My stomach tightened and I wanted more, needed more.
The pilot came over the intercom. “Passengers, please remain seated. Prepare for takeoff.”
“Best sit down, love.” But he didn’t stop teasing my body with his finger.
I dropped one knee next to his hip then threw my other leg over to the other side, straddling him. I rested my hands on the back of the couch just as his finger slid inside me. A moan eased from the back of my throat and my hips bucked of their own accord.
“You’re sweet, Little Creature.” He moved his hand perfectly to edge me toward that perfect moment, and yet, it wasn’t nearly enough.
“Need you.” I reached between us and unfastened his belt.
The plane accelerated down the runway and lifted off just as I freed him from his pants. He was ready for me, and I was needy of him. I rose up over him and lowered myself down.
