Keith

My thoughts are racing as I follow behind Evan and Derek. What are the odds that the man who gave me the best blowjob of my life is my son’s best friend? I knew he was young, but I didn’t know he was my son’s age, young. I mean, I figured, but having it confirmed makes me feel weird. I know Derek is legal, and I didn’t do anything wrong, but a twenty-three-year age gap is big.

Why does the age gap matter, though? It’s not like we’ll be doing anything like that again. I didn’t know his age before, but now that I do—no more.

Oh, who am I kidding? If given the opportunity, I would jump at the chance to fuck Derek’s mouth again. Hell, I’d jump at the opportunity to fuck his ass, too.

Groaning, I adjust myself in my seat, thinking about how firm and tight his small ass felt in my hands. I can only imagine how he’d feel around my cock.

Fuck. It’s been so long since I’ve fucked a man. The one and only time I did was right after I graduated from college. He was my best friend, and we had a fling when we went backpacking around Europe for a few months. He wound up staying with a man he met in Italy and I met Evan’s mom and my now ex-wife, Sheila, shortly after.

Sheila knew I liked men as well as women, but didn’t care. She wasn’t insecure because she knew I was faithful. She even suggested that we spice things up a few times with a threesome for me. But I’m a one-person man and couldn’t bring myself to do it. I don’t regret it at all. I only regret that I didn’t explore that side of myself more. Sheila, as my best friend, told me when we divorced to not hold myself back and explore. We’d spent most of our adult lives together, so she suggested I do what I wanted as a free man.

I’ll take her advice.

A few minutes later, we pull into the parking lot of the restaurant. I follow Evan and Derek inside, looking around at my surroundings. It’s a cozy-looking spot and smells really fucking good. My stomach grumbles and I place my hand over it. Derek spots the move and his eyes fall where my hand is resting. He licks his lips, but turns away quickly, cheeks red.

We place our orders and have a seat at the table. Evan starts a conversation, talking a mile a minute about his courses and the upcoming finals. Derek plays on his phone, taking furtive glances at me and answering only when Evan asks him a direct question. He seems to be spaced out and I’m having a hard time keeping my eyes off of him.

Our order is called, and Derek goes to get our food. Evan turns his attention to me. “Why are you here, Dad? I mean, I’m glad you are, but what’s up? You’ve never visited me before. You always said you had to work.”

I lower my head in regret. When I got married, I wanted to provide for my family. Sheila worked when she wanted, but she didn’t have to. I worked long hours, determined to make enough money for us to survive. I’ll admit I wasn’t around enough, but I want to remedy that. I just hope it’s not too late.

Straightening my shoulders, I tell him, “I’ve decided to move—here—to be closer to you. I know you took a job here after graduation and I want to be there for you more. I retired last month.”

Evan whoops and comes around to give me a hug. “Congratulations! How does it feel to be an unemployed man?”

I laugh loudly, patting his back. “Feels weird, honestly.” I let him go so he can walk around to his side of the table just as Derek brings our food back. He slides my plate in front of me, giving me a soft smile. He’s so fucking pretty. His delicate features shine brighter when he’s dressed down and lights aren’t being bouncing off his face in those obscene colors.

Thanking him, I drag my sandwich over and take a hearty bite. So good.

“Where are you staying?” Evan asks, wiping his mouth with a napkin.

“Kinglands Estate. It’s just off—”

“That’s where I live,” Derek says quietly, biting his sandwich almost daintily.

“Small world,” Evan says, again oblivious of what’s going on between me and his best friend. “Excuse me a moment. I’m going to the restroom.”

When he takes his leave, Derek looks at me with wide eyes. “Did you know? When I approached you, did you know who I was?”

I shake my head quickly. “Not a clue. And it’s obvious you didn’t know.” He shakes his head. “What do we do?”

“What can we do? I don’t want to lose Evan. He’s my best friend. But …”

“But what?” I ask, leaning forward.

“I can maybe help you move in? Or… visit when you’re all unpacked.” His eyes are innocent, not betraying any heat at all, but I still feel myself getting a little hot under the collar.

The look in his eyes seals the deal, and I nod. “Take my number,” I tell him and recite it quickly. He has it in his phone and is shooting me a text just moments before Evan sits back down.

Looks like my move just got more interesting.

Chapter 5

Derek

I’m almost floating on cloud nine when I send Keith a text when I get home. Throughout the rest of the day, I can’t stop thinking about him—mainly the fact that he’s Evan’s father. I always knew the older men that I was attracted to would have kids, but I didn’t think I’d know the kid.
