“That’s why I’m here,” he said. “Put them on me.”
I wiggled around under the duvet, pushing my socks off with my feet. My feet were cold. Alex let out a chuckle as I placed them on his legs.
“Are you getting cold feet about us moving in together?”
“Did we agree to that already?” I asked, adjusting my feet against him, still trying to figure out the best way to get them warm.
“I think we were getting there,” he said, nuzzling my neck. “What other terms do you have?”
“Other than the cuddles and the kisses, we’re gonna need to not distract each other when we both have to write our dissertations.”
“I promise we will,” he whispered in my ear. “What do you say?”
“Yes,” I giggled. “I’ll move in with you, here, but only in that double bedroom.”
“That’s the only double person room in the house, so I can guarantee it.” He kissed my neck again. “I love you. A lot.”
I giggled from the touch of his scratchy beard against my neck. “I love you more, but only a little bit more.”
“You know I’m competitive,” he said, pretending to gnaw me. “I love you more than that little bit more.”
“If that’s true, will you draw on my back until I fall asleep?”
Alex cooed. “I knew you’d say that.” He tickled me. I turned around in the bed. “But I’m prepared.” He continued to tickle at my ribs and back.
It was perfect, and I was ready to spend the rest of my university years with him, and then the rest of my life, but I didn’t want to get ahead of myself. Although my heart was already there. He might not have had the definition of boyfriend penis, the type of dick that fits just right, but he had the one I liked the most, and had started to fit perfectly, with plenty of lube. We slotted together, like true love. It was perfect.
