“Aww, you really do like me.”

“‘Like’ is not the word I would use.” Suni sat down cross-legged and pulled her into his lap. “You hold my heart in your hands. Everything I am is now yours to use as you will. My power, my strength is yours.”

Amma blinked back tears. On Earth, she had given up hope of finding someone who could accept her as she was. The last guy her cousin Jo had tried dating turned out to be an asshole. She hadn’t wanted to have the same thing happen to her, so she had decided to go with a donor when she was ready to have kids. But after only a day, a huge, muscular male was promising her the world and more. Even if he was of a different species, there was no way she was going to pass up what was being offered.

“Suni.” She caged his face between her palms. “You make me feel whole. I think you had my heart the first time you stepped from the shadows.”

Chapter 15

Suni

Suni leaned his forehead against Amma’s and took a deep breath. Her scent filled his lungs and raced through his bloodstream until he could no longer tell where he ended and she began. The peace he had been chasing all his life was suddenly in the hands of a small human woman who was bold enough to give him her heart. A heart that had been bruised and beat, yet still wanted, no, needed love.

“Suni?” Amma stroked his cheeks. “Are you okay?”

“Yes, my heart,” he answered. “I am trying to control myself so that I do not hurt you.”

“First things first, we should take the food off the fire before it burns.” Amma dropped her hands, and he mourned their loss. “Don’t look so sad. I will meet you on the furs.”

Suni was a warrior and hunter. He had stayed hidden for rotations while not moving a muscle, then bursting into action with no motions wasted. Yet, he found himself almost dropping the pot and having to catch himself before he fell into the fire. The muffled snicker behind him made Suni smile. He would make a fool of himself every day if it made her laugh. When the food was safe, he turned toward the furs and froze. Amma had disrobed and sat with her back against the wall and her legs crossed. Suni’s eyes devoured her beauty. Her skin was an even, dark brown, and he smiled to see she had fur covering her cunt. He wondered if she would let him pet it before he licked her until she screamed his name.

“Are you just going to stare at me, or are you going to take off your pants and get over here?” Amma ran a finger down her chest and circled her perky dark nipple. “Or I can take care of things myself while you watch.”

Suni doubted he had ever shed his clothing as fast as he did that moment. His cock sprang upward and knocked against his stomach, smearing a few drops of precum there. Amma’s eyes widened as he approached, and her breath hitched as he knelt and crawled toward her.

He stopped. “Are you scared?” He hoped she would say no. He thought she might need time to get used to his size, but it would take every ounce of training he had to stop himself.

“No.” She beckoned him forward. “I guess… I’ve read a lot of books, but nothing has prepared me for the real thing.”

“Amma,” he whispered as he sat up on his knees. “Are you untouched?”

She covered her chest and seemed to curl into herself. “Is that a problem?”

“Why would you think that?” Suni took her arms and placed them by her side. He didn’t like that she felt she had to cover up in front of him.

“There are some human men who think virgins become clingy after they...” Amma wouldn’t meet his eyes. Gone was the female who had beckoned him to her furs. “Amma, look at me.” It took her second, but she finally lifted her eyes. He saw the doubt and fear. “I am not a weak human male. I am honored that you trust me with your body. Would it make you feel better if I told you that I have not been with a female?”

Her eyes narrowed. “You don’t have to lie. I know a male like you has had his share of females.”

“A male like me?” Suni asked.

“Yes, you’re gorgeous, kind, and all kinds of sexy.” The confident female returned. “And you better not let anyone tell you any different.”

Every word she spoke healed the old wounds of rejection in his heart. “I doubt anyone will want to cross you.”

“I messed up the mood, didn’t I?” Amma grimaced. “Sorry. We could just eat and go to sleep.”

“You think you ruined the mood?” Suni cocked his head in confusion. “No, my heart, not at all. You had a concern and we dealt with it. Now I will lick you until you have no more worries.”

Amma burst out laughing. “Suni, you say some really corny things.”

“Corny?”

“Crazy.”

“I only tell the truth.” He let go of her arms and ran his palms down her legs. “Did you shave off your fur?”

“I don’t have fur.”
