“I’m game if you are.”
“Maybe we can have a quickie in that tiny shower after breakfast.”
“What’s the hurry?”
“I’ve got to go to Walmart. I woke up this morning realizing I have nothing to wear today.”
Tucker’s eyes grew. “Wow. I hadn’t even thought of that. Walmart won’t have a decent blazer.”
“Pedro’s loaning me one. I already texted him. The rest I can get.”
“OK, then. You’re right. We don’t have a lot of time. We need to get back before folks start arriving or we’ll never get back in.”

They ate breakfast, left the dishes in the sink, and hit the shower, managing an efficient mutual hand job to boot.
At Walmart, Evan found a nice pair of khaki slacks, a white button-down Oxford, some decent dress loafers, and a pair of dark socks.
“What about a tie?” he asked.
“I wouldn’t wear one. It’s gonna be hot as hell.”
“But it’s your parents’ wedding.”
“They won’t hold it against you, I promise. But if you really want to, I have some at home you can choose from.”
“Good, because I don’t like what I’m seeing.”

When they got back, the valet parking team was there at the gate, five people in blazers. Tucker waved to the oldest, who seemed in charge.
“Hey, George.”
“Hey, Tucker. Big day, huh?”
“Yes, sir. We’re going to park behind the pool house, out of the way.”
“Sounds good. Tell your Daddy I said hey.”
“Will do.”
Tucker pulled the truck through the open gate, then left the driveway for the back of the guest house.
“Valet parking,” Evan said. “That’s nice.”
“Essential. The only place to park is the field outside the gate. Pedro thought it would be the fastest, safest, and easiest thing to do.”
“Makes sense.”
As they walked back toward the front, they could see that several folks were as busy as bees buzzing about with last-minute decorations and floral items. There were now two giant floating bouquets in the pool, and in front of the guest house stood a large ornate easel displaying the framed painting Pedro had commissioned.
“Oh, my God,” Evan said. “Look at you. So tiny.”
“Yeah,” Tucker said, grinning. “Me and Shelly.”
“It’s beautiful.”
