Yeo nuzzled his alpha’s neck, before meeting Caden’s serious brown eyes. “I’ve never loved anyone like this, Caden. I love Summer, my son, and my papa, but I’ve never loved anyone like I love you.” He laughed even as his eyes grew wet. “This feeling is crazy isn’t it? It’s like fear, joy, excitement, and lust all in one. I adore you, Caden. You make me want to quote fucking Shakespeare.”
Caden laughed, holding Yeo’s body close to his. “I know what you mean. Grey and the others would never let me live it down. I’m supposed to be stoic and quiet.”
“You talk all the time,” Yeo said, confused.
“To you,” Caden said. “To be fair, I’ve opened up a lot with Grey, Justin, and Abel, but you’re different. You’re my omega. I can say whatever I want when we have our nightly talks.”
“Hmm,” Yeo said, hiding his pleasure. He loved their talks. “You still haven’t told me what you do for a living.”
Caden groaned, hiding his face. “Soon.”
“Soon he says.” Yeo hmphed. “Now that we’re in love, will you go on a date with me? Valentine’s Day is Friday. I’ve never had a romantic Valentine’s Day. It’s always just been another day.”
“I thought we were already dating,” Caden said, eyes wide. “Dinner and kissing wasn’t dating?”
Yeo stroked Caden’s hair from his forehead. “I thought you didn’t want to be seen with me in public.”
Caden snorted. “Are you crazy?”
“Oh my god, you just snorted. Caden Benson just snorted,” Yeo said, voice exaggerated with shock. He broke into giggles when Caden started tickling him.
“Our Valentine’s Day date will be perfect,” the alpha said.
