Caden set his stack down and faced Jackson. “I want Yeo’s family to live at the cabin. I love him and want his papa nearby. He didn’t even think about you all wanting to get to know him. This is perfect.” He awkwardly patted Jackson’s shoulder. “Gramps found a place for you in town too. You’re twenty. You may actually want to be on your own.”

Jackson shook his head. “I have to pay the utilities and rent. I can’t do that on two places.”

“Jackson, you aren’t paying rent on the cabin. I own it. Plus, Yeo and I want to help Dean too. You aren’t alone in this.”

Jackson swallowed hard, tears in his eyes. “It’s been so hard here. Everyone in the neighborhood knows what Dad did to Papa. Mr. Chris and Ms. Wendy are the only ones who ever tried to help. A lot of people in town don’t like omegas or think they should work. It was hard to find a job. Papa couldn’t find anything. No one wanted him. I hate being named after this stupid town.”

“A bunch of idiots,” Caden said, snorting. He looked around. Good. No one heard him snort. “You’ll like the bookstore. Will Dean be able to handle all the animals you guys have?”

“Oh yeah,” Jackson said. “He loved taking care of the farm. We had a ton of cattle he cared for. That’s how we paid the bills. Dad didn’t do anything.”

“I’ve been meaning to ask,” Caden said. They started carrying the boxes in. “Why did your papa give Yeo a Korean name, but you all got non-Korean names?”

“Grandpa and Dad both didn’t let Grandpapa or Papa do anything foreign.” Jackson laughed. “Grandpa basically ordered a mail-order omega from Korea, then didn’t want him to be Korean.”

“My Dad is an idiot,” Dean said, taking the boxes from them.

“How did you come up with Yeo’s name?” Bennett was taking dishes and pans out of cabinets and placing them on the counter. Yeo sat on the floor with Linc and Huckleberry.

“When I was little, my papa told me about his little brother back in South Korea. He missed him so much, but Dad wouldn’t let him call or visit. His name was Yeo.”

Yeo looked up, so full of happiness that Caden couldn’t help but lean down and kiss him. “Eww,” Jules said. “They’re making kissy faces out here, Jimmy.” He ran back into the bedroom. Yeo laughed and Caden dipped down again and kissed him more thoroughly.

“Yeo, Dad,” Summer said, jumping up and down beside them. “Jimmy draws! He’s really good too, and he likes the sound of the stories I’ve written. We’re going to make comic books together. It’s going to be so awesome.” Caden had never seen her so excited. She hopped up and down, then grabbed some boxes from Jackson. “Hurry up! We have to get them home.”

“The cabin has a small attic with a bunch of windows,” Caden said, musing. “I wonder if Carter could turn it into a room for Jimmy. Artists need natural light, right?”

Yeo gave him a warm look, and Dean made a small noise and covered his mouth. He limped to Caden and hugged him tight. Caden blinked in surprise, but slowly wrapped his arms around Yeo’s papa. “I’m glad Yeo found you, Caden,” Dean whispered.
