I lay my head back on his shoulder, loving how comfortable he was sitting here with me, dick out and spent. “Mm, I like knowing I’m hard because I got to suck you off. Besides, now you can picture me at home tonight, lying in my bed, jacking myself, remembering what just happened in this car.”
He groaned. “That’s so mean.”
“No, it means that you haven’t fed me yet. Let’s run back inside for my stuff, and then I’ll drive you to your car and follow you to The Tap.” He went along with my plan easily, but I’d probably zapped what was left of his energy after a long day when I drained his balls.
Damn, I was good.
Chapter Nineteen
KENNY
Before opening the door into The Tap, Roland and I agreed that we’d go to the bar and order our food to-go. As we weaved through the restaurant, Roland waved over at Cameron on one side while I waved at Indie where he was serving a table on the other. “Even if we’re not eating here, it's a good thing we at least stopped in,” I said. “Otherwise, you might have had a mutiny on your hands. Cameron would think I’m trying to steal you away from him.”
Roland chuckled as he steered me to the back bar, helped me up onto a chair, and then pulled his stool closer to mine before he sat down. When Oz approached, Roland said, “We're going to order to-go tonight, but we at least wanted to order here and say hello to everyone.”
Oz frowned. “Ah, you can’t go anywhere.”
“Um, why?” I asked.
Oz shook his head. “You just can’t. Trust me. Indie waited to take his break when you arrived.”
“Really?” I asked. I'd come with Roland for several weeks, and Indie had never joined us.
Roland’s face went through a complicated mix of emotions. “Is he okay?” he finally asked, landing where I expected, as a concerned father. “He hasn't taken his break when I come in since I told him it wasn't necessary months ago.”
Oz held up a finger. “Be right back.” He went to the other end of the bar where one of the servers was waiting on him for drinks.
It was obvious that Roland was concerned, so I grabbed his hand. “I'm sure he's fine. He waved when we came in, and he didn't look too upset or anything.”
“I hope so.” An indent appeared between Roland's eyebrows, and I poked it. “I thought I had all your facial expressions memorized, but I’ve noticed you get that when you're being a big old worrywart, Daddy.”
He smacked my hand away playfully. “Be nice to the old man. Just because you have an adorable little wrinkle-free baby face doesn’t mean you have to poke fun.”
I tilted my head and framed it between my hands. “Aw. You like my face?”
Oz appeared in front of us again, making gagging noises. “Please stop.Ugh. So much love around this place.”
Roland chuckled. “Since you’re obviously not going to tell us what’s up with my kid, why don’t you tell me about your love life, Oz.”
Oz held up both hands. “Sorry, Roland. I absolutely refuse to discuss anything about my sex life here. One of these boys willget ideas in their head and start trying to match me up with someone.”
“Who said anything about sex?” I giggled.
“Yeah, that's probably true. I'll give you that,” Roland said, ignoring my giggling fit other than a fond smile in my direction.
Dropping the topic completely, Oz switched gears back to Indie. “You two are staying, though, right? I think it’s important.”
Roland nodded. “What choice do we have? I have to make sure he's okay.”
Oz rapped the bar top twice with his knuckles. “Would you like me to put in your normal order then?”
I gasped. “Oh my gosh. Do we have a normal order? Are we that predictable?”
Oz see-sawed one hand in that so-so gesture, and I groaned. “You two are as predictable as an old married couple.”
“The humiliation.” I sighed dramatically, wanting to distract Roland until Indie made his way over here.
Roland looked at me affectionately. “I'm okay with that.” Damn this man and his sweet words. I bet I had that whole heart-shaped eyes thing going on now.
