She extends an arm toward Macey. “Maybe Macey wants to know.”
“She doesn’t.”
“I’m kind of curious.” Macey giggles.
Avery turns to face her. “I usually drop to my knees first, and then I let him fuck me from behind.”
“I’m begging you! Please stop.”
“Well…” Macey’s eyes go wide. “I was not expecting that. But back to your current dilemma”—she turns to face me again—“I think if you two feel the way you do about each other, you should see where it goes and stand together when everyone else finds out. It’s just a bump in the road for you two that you can overcome together. It will only make you that much stronger in the end.”
Macey’s advice fills me with a sense of warmth and comfort.
I only have to make it till graduation hiding this secret from everyone else.
Three more months until the inevitable storm hits, and I’m bracing myself for it.
April
How’s studying going?
Emiline
Good. I think.
I don’t know, the words are blurring together.
I’m going to the gym if you want to join me and take a break.
Emiline
Boxing or lifting?
Boxing. I get my lifting workout tossing you around in the bedroom now *wink*
Emiline
I like that kind of workout
Come with me.
Please.
I showed up at her place thirty minutes after sending the text, even though she never responded.
I woke up this afternoon after working last night, and the first thought I had when I opened my eyes was Emiline. I’m still scared of where we’ll end up and what will happen, but I don’t care about my fears anymore.
I want it.
I want her.
Emiline opens the door and I drink her in like a glass of whiskey. She’s wearing her black biker shorts and an oversized T-shirt with her hair pulled back in a ponytail.
“Ready for the gym?”
She rolls her eyes. “I guess I’m going to have to be. I don’t feel like going, but you asked nicely.” She takes a step toward me, wrapping her arms around my waist while I wrap mine around her head, pulling her face to my chest.
“Where’s Silas?” she asks, knowing he’s my go-to person for this.
