Nipping at Ore’s kiss-swollen lips, he slicked himself with more lube. “You think being rude and demanding is the way to get what you want?”
“I said please,” Ore argued, a smile tugging at his lips.
“Hmm.” Cash held his eyes as he lined up at Ore’s entrance. “I suppose that’s true.”
Ore opened his mouth—whether to be bratty or beg, he wasn’t sure—but Cash surged forward, sinking halfway inside in one go. Moaning long and low, Ore arched his neck back and dug his heels into Cash’s ass.
“Goddess, yes. More,please.”
He eased in slowly, worried about going too fast and hurting Ore despite his desire for Cash to just pound the shit out of him. He’d never his little bird’s health or safety—not even so he could get inside his amazingly tight heat.
“Cash, faster,” he pleaded, slapping at one of his shoulders. “I’m small, not fragile. I can take it, I promise.”
There was a thread of desperation in his voice that called to Cash’s panther, snagging and reeling him in until he was nothing but a discipline worshiping at the throne of Ore.
He sped up, going deeper with each thrust, Ore’s cries of ecstasy ringing in his ears. Soon, he was lost to the pleasure building between him, face smashed into his mate’s neck to suck in as much of his floral scent as possible and hips shuttling in at out at a fast, steady pace. Just before he bottomed out each time, he’d slam the rest of the way in just to hear his mate moan again and again.
“I’m so close,” Ore whimpered, wrapped as tightly around Cash as he could get.
Cash grunted in agreement, speeding up a little more.
Tilting his head to the side, Ore begged breathlessly, “Bite me, please. Make me yours forever.”
He released an ear-splitting roar, his fangs descending and pricking at his lip. Giving one more lick over the spot, now salty with a thin layer of sweat, he pounded into Ore twice more andthen let go. His come sprayed inside him, so deep he had to believe it would stay forever, marking him with his scent.
But that wasn’t enough.
With a hiss, he bit down into the meat of Ore’s shoulder, his mouth filling with his coppery blood. Ore tensed beneath him, right on the edge, and Cash moved his hips in a circle.
“Oh shit, your dick…”
His chest filled with pride at providing even more pleasure for his mate. Now that they were bonded, his cock would be able to form ridges to give Ore more sensation.
Swirling his hips once more, he released his teeth and grinned with primal satisfaction as Ore screamed, the scent of his come filling the air. Gently, he licked over the bite mark he’d left, watching with content as Ore’s skin began to heal but leaving a scar behind.
Everyone would know he was claimed.
Panting, Ore flopped his limbs onto the bed, turning into a puddle beneath him. “That was… I didn’t realize… Good gracious.”
Cash’s chest pumped with satisfaction, and he pulled out with a groan. Ore moaned softly as well but didn’t open his eyes. Filled with contentment, Cash got them both cleaned up, holding Ore up while he stripped the stained comforter off the bed and then tucking him beneath the sheet.
As he crawled in behind him and wrapped his arms around his limp little body, Ore roused just long enough to mutter, “Give me five more minutes, then I’m ready for round two.”
He pressed his smile into his mate’s hair. It was doubtful Ore would wake at all before morning, but he didn’t mind.
They had the rest of their lives to make up for it.
Chapter 18
Cash
“There’s no reason to be nervous.”
Even without the bitter scent filling Cash’s nose, he would’ve known Ore was anxious about meeting the people coming to their aid. Both of his legs were bouncing up and down as they sat in his truck, waiting for the plane to land. At the most northern edge of their territory, an area had been cleared right after Liam became alpha, and his brother had built his own private hangar so he and his people could visit whenever they wanted without having to drive in from the city.
The place was always locked down tight when not in use, a few SUVs tucked inside and ready for them.
Quinten rarely visited himself since he was busy running hisnotcompletely legit business empire, but he and Liam talked on the phone constantly, it seemed like, either through text, phone calls, or video chats. They were so close he’d been surprised to learn they were only stepbrothers. Liam’s mom had married Quinten’s dad when he was young, and Quinten had helped raise him.
