“Please tell me what’s going on. I have a hundred ideas running around in my mind, and I need you to set me straight.” Calliope tells us, her eyes filling with tears.

“Baby please dry your eyes. This was always the plan, what Paul and I wanted from the start. As soon as we met you, we knew we’d have to share you, that there was no other way. We fell for the same woman. What better way to love you than to offer double the unconditional love we had been searching for.”

“I still don’t understand.”

“Calliope we want you to move in with us, share our home, make our family complete.”

This is the moment that she turns us down, tells us we’re crazy. She’s going to come up with a hundred excuses about why we can’t move in together.

Callie stands and starts pacing in front of us, wringing her hands together. “You know I took over Olivia’s lease when she moved in with Garret and Logan. It’s a cute little cottage for one person, but that’s not me anymore, ya’ know? I mean when you guys come over it’s kind of cramped and the kitchen is tiny. Well, the lease is almost up, and I have to decide by next week if I’m going to renew or not. I thought to talk to you about it, but then I felt silly discussing it with you both.”

“Callie, stop right now. Come here, baby.” Ryan commands her, and she comes immediately, standing between his legs.

“I’ve got a few things to say, and I need you to listen without interrupting me.”

Crossing her arms over her chest and narrowing her eyes at Ryan, she waits, silently.

“You know you like to interrupt us, so lose the attitude because what I’m about to tell you is important moving forward.”

When her shoulders drop, and she sits on his lap, I know she’s ready to listen to what he’s about to say.

“Why did you think it would be silly to talk with us about renewing your lease?”

Biting her lip, Callie looks from Ryan to me then down at her hands. “I wasn’t sure how you guys felt. You’re always telling me this is it, that we’re forever and I’m yours, but we’ve only been dating for a month now. I didn’t want to assume, and then things get awkward. I love how things are going. I don’t want to screw this up by assuming too much.”

“That was our fault that we didn’t make it clearer to you Precious. I hate that we even let you think we might not be ready for forever with you.” I tell her. “You have every right to assume we’re it because we’re never letting you go. It’s simple love, do you want to live with us? We can work through everything else. We’re better together than apart, and I hate leaving you home alone most nights.”

“I hate it too! God yes, I want to move in with you. I want everything with you.”

“Thank you, Christ. Paul told me I had to play it cool if you weren’t ready, but I might have just packed up your house and moved you in anyway if you said no. Fucking school nights are killing me, baby.”

“We’ll slowly start moving your stuff over next week, but you’re never spending another fucking night alone again Precious,” I tell her kissing her quick so that Ryan can get some loving too.
