“Tonight has been amazing. Thank you.” She says sighing happily.

I bring her hand up to my lips and kiss the top of it. “It’s not over yet, mi corazón.”

Sophia’s eyes sparkle. “So many surprises today.”

“You deserve them and so many more,” Ryan says before turning her face to his and stealing a kiss.

We made reservations at Palisade for dinner. We’ve never been here before, but it didn’t disappoint. It was every bit the experience we had wanted for our first date with Sophia. They were able to seat us in a private area with a waterfront view for the evening and the food was exquisite.

Now we’re on our way to the hotel. Sophia has no idea what’s coming, and her shocked smiles are making the last two days away from her worth it.

The limo pulls up to The Edgewater Hotel and excitement for the night ahead pulses through my veins. When he opens the door, I get out first and help Sophia out before Ryan exits behind her.

We’ve already checked in, so we go straight to the elevator and up to our room. When we walk in, Sophia stops and gasps as she raises her hands to cover her mouth. All around the room, on every available surface, are vases of roses. We bought out all the red long-stemmed and regular roses from three different florists to fill the room.

“What did you do?” She asks looking around the room.

I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her from the back. “This is what you deserve, mi corazón,” I say leaving open-mouthed kisses against her neck.

Sophia turns in my hold and looks up at me. “You and Ryan are the only thing I need. All of this,” She says, gesturing around the room and at herself, “All of this was beautiful and amazing, but if I had to choose, I’d rather just have you both.”

“Are you sure that’s what you want?” Ryan asks, standing beside me.

Sophia looks between us as her brows draw together. “I’ve wanted you both, not just one, but both of you together, for as long as I can remember. It never seemed rational, but I can’t help what my heart wants.”

“Love isn’t rational, it’s a feeling. Don’t bother trying to make sense of it.”

“Love?” Sophia squeaks adorably.

“We’re in love with you, Sophia,” Ryan says and drops to one knee, grasping one of her hands in his.

I do the same, grabbing her other. “Unequivocally in love with you.”

Sophia’s doe eyes are staring down at us kneeling at her feet. When I pull a black velvet box out of my pocket and open the lid, revealing a five-carat pink diamond engagement ring her jaw drops.

“Will you marry us?”

Sophia is standing before us silently shaking.

“Say something princess. Is it too soon?” Ryan asks.

She shakes her head no and bites her bottom lip.

“Will you spend the rest of your life with us? Give us children, tie us together in every way imaginable? Will you be our wife?” Ryan asks.

She nods her head up and down and before I can get the ring out of the box, Sophia is dropping to her knees her arms wrapped around us both.

“I love you both so much.” She cries.

“Queens don’t cry, love,” I say and dry her tears.

She smiles at me and I can’t take it anymore. I pull her to me and kiss her deeply, pushing our ring on her finger.

“It’s perfect,” Sophia says looking down at the ring in awe.

“You’re perfect. That’s just a stone.” Ryan says before pulling Sophia to him for his own kiss.
