“Simon,” I growled, like a prayer, as I positioned myself, then plunged into him.
I wasn’t gentle with him. I knew Simon wouldn’t want me to be gentle. I took what I wanted from him, pumping harder and harder until my balls hit against his hot skin with each thrust. Simon cried out and grasped onto my arms as I spread over him, his eyes never leaving mine.
More than just my orgasm roared in me, like a wave building and crashing against the shore. It was like a bolt of white-hot lightning fired between us, growing bigger and bigger with each thrust. I could feel how good it was for Simon, and I knew he could feel my pleasure as acutely as his own.
I couldn’t stop the crash in either of us. With a cry, I started to come, pleasure like nothing I’d ever felt consuming me. Simon came at the same time as me, completely uncontrollably, squeezing me with his whole body like he never wanted me to leave him.
The moment was perfect, and it seemed to go on for a long, long time. It wasn’t quite a breeding orgasm, but it was close.
It was over far too soon, and my arms went rubbery for a moment before I collapsed to Simon’s side, pulling out of him, even though I didn’t want to. I immediately grabbed him and enclosed him in a hug that was as protective as it was affectionate.
“Mine,” I sighed aloud, even as my alpha roared those same words in victory.
And there it was, hot and fresh and deeply open between us. The bond was a complete paradigm shift for me. I wasn’t just one, lonely, controlling alpha anymore. I was part of something, part of a pairing that complimented each other in every way.
“Master,” Simon sighed, wrapping his arms and legs around me and sagging against me, falling instantly into sleep.
I drifted off, too, more content than I had any right to be. I didn’t think I’d ever experienced such contentment before.
I could have slept for hours, days, but after what couldn’t have been more than an hour, the sound of my phone ringing woke me up. I’d left my phone in the living room when I’d brought Simon to bed, but the tone was loud enough that it had awakened me from my exhausted sleep. Either that or it had been ringing for a long time as someone tried to get in touch with me.
I sucked in a breath and sat bolt-upright, waking Simon as I did. It could have been Vivien. It could have been my uncle again. It could have been anyone, given the current circumstances.
“Master?” Simon asked groggily as I swung my legs around and got out of bed.
“It’s alright,” I told Simon, marching out of the bedroom and into the living room to answer the incessant call.
It was Artemis. That only made my heart pound faster.
“Hello?” I answered the call.
“Thank God you answered at last,” Artemis said, proving he had been trying to call for a while.
“We were asleep,” I said.
“Listen, you have to get out of there. Right now,” Artemis said without any further greetings.
“What? Why?” I was fully awake in an instant.
“The police are coming,” Artemis said. Judging by the sounds of the city on his end of the call, he was walking somewhere outside and walking fast.
“The police?”
“They’re coming to arrest you for the kidnapping of Hayden Kipling, and now for kidnapping Simon as well.”
“What?” I shouted, turning to look at Simon as he stepped cautiously into the room. “That makes no sense. I had nothing to do with Hayden Kipling, and I definitely haven’t kidnapped Simon.”
“Is that what it’s going to look like when the police show up at your place and find you with him?” Artemis asked.
I drew in a breath and stood straighter. What the police would see when they arrived at my house was Simon naked, wearing a slave collar and restraints, a little battered and bruised from rough sex. What they wouldn’t immediately see, unless they were part of a bonded alpha/omega pair, was the bond that pulsed, large and new, between us. And if they tried to separate me and Simon now, it would cause intense pain for both of us.
“Right,” I said, nodding and making decisions in an instant. “Thanks for warning us.”
I ended the call, even though I still had a million questions, and Artemis probably did, too, and headed back to Simon.
“We need to get cleaned up and dressed immediately,” I said, steering him toward my en suite, even though we wouldn’t have time for a full shower.
“Is everything alright?” Simon asked, his voice small and worried.
