“I know. I picked you, remember?” I lowered myself over him, my eyes widening at the intense stretch of him pushing into me. “You’re huge.”

His fingers tightened on my ass. “I don’t want you in pain. Let me—” His savage groan interrupted him, as I pushed myself down further, taking him halfway inside me. The tip of him hit what I thought had to be my hymen, and it ached a little. “You’re tight, Beautiful. So tight. Just let me?—”

I sank down over him again, harder.

He snarled another curse. “Launa.”

It was painful for a moment—blindingly painful—but the moment ended quickly.

And when it was over, it was replaced with pleasure.

Insane pleasure.

I didn’t have words to describe the way he felt inside me. Huge. Hard. Thick. Perfect.

None of them were accurate.

“How do you feel?” His words were a demand more than a question.

“Hot,” I managed, rocking my hips just a little.

The motion was so much.

Too much.

The pleasure hit me hard—harder than I ever expected—and I screamed as I came.

Kyle roared with me, moving his hips until he hit the back of my channel. The heat of his release flooded me, melding with my own.

Our eyes were locked as we came down from the high together.

His fingers were still buried in my ass, but I didn’t care. Not even a little.

“I’m never letting you go,” he said.

I think it was supposed to be a warning, but it made me smile. “Neither am I.”

LAUNA

We gotout of bed and reluctantly put our clothes back on. I left my shorts in the room, and Kyle didn’t bother with his either, just pulling on his boxer-briefs.

Our fingers were intertwined as we walked back to the food, and found Jordan sitting at the table, staring out at the ocean.

My face had to be bright red, but I didn’t say a thing as I took my seat.

Kyle didn’t seem embarrassed in the slightest. In fact, the man was downright cheerful. He whistled as he filled a plate with food for me (one of the chef’s staff was there to assure him it was safe).

I watched curiously.

“Be careful with him,” Jordan murmured to me, and my attention jerked to my guard.

My stomach clenched.

Was he going to tell me something I didn’t know about Kyle? Or?—

“He’s only got another month or two to live without a mate. If you’re not serious about this, don’t get his hopes up. He deserves to go out in peace.”
