Elder Marisol exchanged a troubled look with Magnus.
Elder Marisol: "Legends speak of forces older than any we've encountered—entities that dwell beneath the earth, stirring only when the balance is disrupted."
Amelia's mind raced.
Amelia: "Are you suggesting we've awakened something?"
Elder Dorian nodded slowly.
Elder Dorian: "It's possible. The immense energies we channeled during the battle may have had unforeseen consequences."
The hall fell into a heavy silence as the weight of his words settled over them.
Amelia: "What can we do?"
Elder Magnus looked around the table.
Elder Magnus: "We must investigate and, if necessary, prepare for a new threat. This may require alliances beyond our current ones."
Seraphine leaned forward.
Seraphine: "There's a group of sages in the Eastern Realms who specialize in ancient magics. They might have knowledge that can help us."
Amelia nodded decisively.
Amelia: "Then we should reach out to them immediately."
As plans were set into motion, a messenger burst into the hall, out of breath and wide-eyed.
Messenger: "Elders! A fissure has opened near the Sanctuary's boundary. Something is emerging!"
Amelia's heart pounded.
Amelia: "We need to evacuate the area and secure the Sanctuary."
The council members dispersed rapidly, each taking on tasks to address the imminent danger.
Amelia rushed back to her home, finding Xander and Liam already preparing to assist.
Liam: "Mom, I can help. I can feel the energy of whatever's out there."
She placed a firm hand on his shoulder.
Amelia: "I know you want to help, but it's too dangerous."
He looked up at her, determination shining in his eyes.
Liam: "If we don't face this together, we might not stand a chance."
Xander stepped forward.
Xander: "He's right. We've always been strongest as a family."
She hesitated, torn between her protective instincts and the reality of the situation.
Amelia: "Alright, but we stay together at all times."
They made their way toward the edge of the Sanctuary, where a crowd had gathered at a safe distance. Before them, a massive fissure split the earth, eerie light emanating from its depths.
