Amelia: "You're quite the charmer."
Xander: "Only when inspired."
They continued talking, the hours slipping by unnoticed.
Eventually, they moved to the lounge area, the city lights twinkling below.
Amelia: "Thank you for tonight. It's been... enlightening."
Xander: "The pleasure is mine."
She looked at him thoughtfully.
Amelia: "You know, the more I get to know you, the more questions I have."
Xander: "And here I thought I was providing answers."
Amelia: "Maybe just enough to keep me intrigued."
Xander: "Is that so bad?"
Amelia: "Not necessarily."
He reached out, gently tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
Xander: "There's something about you, Amelia. Something that draws me in."
Her breath hitched.
Amelia: "I could say the same about you."
He leaned in slightly.
Xander: "Perhaps we should see where this leads."
She met his gaze, a mixture of anticipation and caution.
Amelia: "What about those burdens you carry? The responsibilities?"
Xander: "For tonight, I'd like to forget them."
She hesitated for a moment before nodding.
Amelia: "Then let's make the most of tonight."
He smiled softly.
Xander: "Agreed."
They spent the rest of the evening lost in conversation, laughter, and shared stories.
As the night drew to a close, Xander escorted her to the car.
Xander: "May I see you again?"
Amelia: "I think I'd like that."
Xander: "Until then."
