They prepared to defend themselves, but before the clash could begin, a blinding light erupted from the direction of the cave. Everyone turned to see Liam standing at the entrance, the orb from the cave held aloft in his hands, glowing brilliantly.

His voice echoed across the courtyard, filled with a power beyond his years.

Liam: "Enough!"

The light intensified, forcing everyone to shield their eyes. When it subsided, the rogue attackers were immobilized, held in place by ethereal bindings.

Darius struggled against the invisible restraints, fury contorting his features.

Darius: "What is this sorcery?"

Liam stepped forward, his gaze steady.

Liam: "You will not harm anyone here."

Amelia and Xander stared in awe.

Amelia: "Liam..."

He turned to them, the glow fading.

Liam: "I couldn't let them hurt you."

Before they could respond, the ground began to tremble. Cracks appeared in the earth, and an ominous energy filled the air.

Seraphine shouted from across the courtyard.

Amelia rushed toward Liam.
