Other than that article being circulated, apparently luck is on my side. There’s a full-length mirror I didn’t see before positioned perfectly across from the chaise. My gaze drops to where I’m filling her.
“Look at that, Princess.” She lifts her head to find my eyes in the mirror. “Look at how perfectly we fit together.”
“Oh, god.” She takes in a shaky breath.Rhys, Rhys, Rhys, she chants, telling me she’s close. And fuck, I love hearing her say my name when she’s about to go over the edge.
I slip my hand down to her clit and give it a few strokes before she tenses around me. Her muscles milk my cock, pulling me in deeper, and a moment later I pulse my release inside her.
She leans back into my chest, and her hand cups my cheek.
“Rhys?”
“Yeah, Princess?”
“How do you know if you’re addicted to sex? I’m starting to become concerned that I can’t control myself when you’re around.”
She lets out an airy laugh to tell me she’s not really concerned but dealing with the feelings of being physically intimate in a relationship for the first time.
I smile and turn my head to press a kiss into her palm.
“Same, baby. Same.”
CHAPTER 56
Colette
After a relaxing weekend, evaluation week is finally here. During the evaluation period, Alexei and his assistant choreographer, Aszure, attend the company’s morning class each day to observe us. It’s a way for them to get insight into where dancers are after the break and observe the new trainees that have been asked to attend company class.
Outside of my time spent with Sebastian working on our showcase routine, I’ve been training and practicing alone. The energy with everyone back in the same room is what I missed the most.
The past two days, we’ve spent six hours, with a one-hour lunch break in the middle, learning various elements of choreography for the pieces that will be performed for the fall session. While I was able to practice and train for certain elements that I imagined might be a part of the performance or sequences that I personally felt needed work, no one can ever predict what the choreography will be. That’s what makes these days grueling, but also fun.
After today’s lunch break, we’ll be doing the final practice in which Alexei, Aszure, and the company’s artistic director, Susan, will be observing us for the last time before decisions are made.
Right now, Isabella, Sebastian, Dimitri, and I find a shady bench outside to eat our lunch and let our bodies rest before the final practice. With Dimitri’s absence during the break, we’ve had to fill him in on what has happened between me and Rhys.
He didn’t question the quick timeline at all. He simply said you know when you know. I also have the growing suspicion that after Isabella visited him in Greece, they have a romantic thing going on now.
I watch closely as Isabella moves closer to Dimitri on the bench, and he discreetly, but clearly to my prying eyes, drops a kiss to her bare, sun-kissed shoulder.
I pull out the mixed greens, chicken, and sweet potatoes that Rhys helped me prepare last night.
“That looks delicious.” Sebastian points at my food with his fork.
“Rhys made it,” I say.
“A gorgeous billionaire fiancé that cooks?” Sebastian fans himself. “I’d be jealous if I wasn’t already falling for his quirky and boyishly handsome assistant.”
Isabella wiggles her brows. “So, what you’re saying is he has more skills than just in the bedroom.”
I smirk. “Rhys has a lot of hidden talents.”
I smile at how Rhys has become a good cook, but also have to laugh at how messy everything is while he’s making a meal. We’ve learned I’m a clean as you go person, while he lets everything in the kitchen become complete chaos, in my opinion, then cleans it all up at the end.
“How was Greece?” I ask Isabella and Dimitri.
“So much fun.” Isabella grins. “We should all go next year.”
As he eats, Dimitri’s hand squeezes Isabella’s thigh affectionately. There’s an ease to their affection. It seems like the most natural thing in the world. Yup, there’s something happening there.
