“You can’t put it off,” she warned.

“I won’t. I’ll explain it. I just have to talk to Damian first.”

They would be in on my plan even if my sisters were against it.

And as much as I couldn’t believe that was my plan, I hadseenthe way he physically changed. He needed blood.Myblood. It would make him stronger, which meant he could protect my sisters and everyone else in the Manor that much better.

I pushed the uncertainty aside and squeezed Avery’s arm as we reached the pool.

“Pleasereconsider this plan,” she said.

“I love you too,” she said grudgingly, leaving me beside the most beautiful pool in the world as she headed back to the elevator.

Sitting down on one of the massive rocks at the side of the pool, I slipped my feet in the water and made a group chat with two of the phone numbers I found programmed into the device.
