Sam put his hands on Mike’s shoulders and began to ride, rocking back and forth, gaining in momentum, rolling his hips and moaning every time Mike filled him. Mike grabbed his ass cheeks, pulling him down hard, urging him to go faster, and Sam nodded, his gaze locked on Mike’s flushed face. Mike stroked Sam’s chest, his breathing rapid, and Sam knew their first time wasn’t going to last long.

“On your side, sweetheart,” Mike flung out.

Sam pulled free and lay facing the wall, his knee toward his chest, Mike spooned around him. Mike’s arms enfolded him, and he slid back into Sam’s body, rocking into him, picking up speed, both of them moaning. When Mike’s thrusts became jerky, Sam turned his head to look at him.

“Come in me, please.”

Mike nodded, hips snapping, and it wasn’t long before Sam felt the throb of his cock. Mike groaned, stilling inside him, and Sam swore he could feel every pulse ofMike’s shaft.

Mike kissed him. “Your turn,” he murmured, before wrapping his fingers around Sam’s dick. Three tugs were all it took to push Sam over the edge, and he cried out as he came, Mike’s arm still around his shoulders, cradling Sam against his chest.

They lay quietly, Sam loving the aftermath almost as much as the preceding act.

He sighed. “I know we should get cleaned up before they all come home, but right now I don’t want to move.”

Mike kissed his shoulder. “You and me both.” He nuzzled Sam’s neck. “That was incredible.”

Sam turned to receive the kiss he knew awaited him. “No argument there. Only next time, let’s try to last a little longer?”

Mike’s eyes shone. “So there’s going to be a next time?”

Sam chuckled. “Do you have to ask?” His heart pounded, and he couldn’t hold the words in a second longer. “Sorry to break it to you, but you’re stuck with me.”

He’d known that since maybe their third kiss, but it was nice to have it confirmed. Now all he needed was to know he wasn’t the only one.

“That’s fine by me, because I have no intention of ever letting you go,” Mike whispered.

Thank God. They were on the same page.

Thanksgiving

Mike was having palpitations.

“Do we have enough food? Have they started arriving yet? Is the room warm enough?”

Ashley rolled her eyes. “Will you stop it? There’s enough food to feed an army. Yes, the first guests have arrived, and yes, there’s only a handful of them, but we’ve still got forty minutes until we’re due to start. Anthony’s fruit punch is going down well. And yes, the room is warm enough.”

Elliott hurried into the lobby. “Two things you need to know before we go get into our costumes. One, we’ve gotten messages from people who say they’ll be turning up last minute. But—”

Mike’s heart went into overdrive. “We can’t feed them!”

He held up his hand. “Relax, okay? I wasaboutto say, but all of them have also said they’re bringing something.” He grinned. “By the look of it, half of Provincetown is about to arrive on our doorstep. And that gave me an idea.” He crooked his finger. “Come with me.”

Elliott led them into the bar, where Mike saw a large box with a slit in the top. Standing next to it was a tall piece of cardboard, on which was printedNick’s Place needs your change. Take the weight out of your pocket and leave it here. There was a thermometer drawn on the board, with a scale rising along its length.

Elliott pointed to it. “I’ve marked it off in increments of fifty dollars. When we hit a level, we color it in.” Hegrinned. “Hey, no one likes to carry too much change. We’re just helping them out.”

Jim laughed. “I love it. I’ll put it next to the door where folks come in.” He picked up the box and the board, then headed toward the theater, from where came laughter and chatter.

Sam slipped his hand into Mike’s. “It’s going to be fine.”

For the first time that morning, Mike allowed himself to relax a little.

We can do this.
