She raised an eyebrow. “You looking for trouble?”
“Let’s just say he deserves it,” I growled, a smirk playing on my lips.
Presley’s legs slid along my hips as she tucked her head under my chin. “Reagan mentioned in gym class that Evan’s parents are out of town. He’ll be alone.”
Our eyes met, her gaze glinting with the same mischief I felt building. “He’ll be at school tomorrow,” she said, laughing softly. “He got morning detention.”
I tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. “Think you can get away?”
She grinned. “As long as my parents aren’t home. I’ll have to slip out the back, though—the garage cam will catch me. Pick me up on Maple Street?”
My hands slid down to cup her hips, pulling her close. “What do I get if I do?”
She shifted, her hips pressing down, and I felt my body respond instantly. Her breath hitched, and she closed her eyes, moving against me with just enough pressure to make me groan.
“This feels so good,” she whispered, her voice barely above a sigh.
“It’d feel better if I was inside you,” I murmured, my own voice rough.
She didn’t answer, just kept moving, letting her head fall back as her breathing quickened. I could feel her need building with every subtle shift. When she whispered, “I’m close… so close,” I didn’t hesitate. I rolled her onto her back, slipping her yoga pants down just enough to expose her. Her skin was warm, inviting, and I moved my mouth to her, tasting the heat and slickness.
Her fingers twisted in my hair, tugging hard as I pressed my tongue against her sensitive spot. “More,” she moaned, her hips pressing up to meet me.
I eased her pants down her thighs and slid two fingers inside her, working her steadily. Her back arched, her body yielding as I circled my thumb over her clit. She whispered my name, voice breaking.
“Hudson…”
Her body tensed and trembled, and I stayed with her, drawing every ounce of her release until she relaxed, melting beneath me. I moved up, hovering over her, the words escaping before I could stop them.
“Pres… I need you. Say yes.”
Her lips curved in a faint smile. “Yes…”
CHAPTER 20
Presley
The cold drizzle soaked through my hoodie, but it barely registered. I was too focused, every nerve on edge as I waited for Hudson’s truck to pull up. The suspension, the chore list my mother had left, and Neil’s silence all weighed on me, but this—this felt like it mattered. This was for my brother.
Hudson’s truck rolled up, and I climbed in, brushing rain off my sleeves. I took in his outfit with a smirk. “All black?”
He grinned, shrugging. “Just playing the part. I’m a gangster, remember?”
“Right,” I said, buckling my seatbelt. “Real smooth, Hudson.”
He laughed, then his tone shifted, more serious. “Where am I parking?”
“Near Ray’s place. He’s a few houses down from Evan, and there’s a path through the woods we can use to get in. No cameras out back.”
He kept the truck in park, turning to look at me. “Pres, what are we really trying to accomplish here?”
I met his gaze, defiant. “Revenge. I’m done with this popularity contest crap.”
“The notebook?”
I nodded, feeling the weight of it. “Yeah. I want to wreck him. Make him feel what it’s like to lose.”
Hudson took my hand, his touch gentle against the storm brewing inside me. “You know you can’t expose what’s in there without hurting other people, too. Some of those girls…”
