“I suppose we should. They’ve been taking excellent care of me.”
I giggle as he pinches my nipple.
“Yeah, I saw how they weretaking careof you.” He runs his hands down my leg where I was burned by Drake. “But they healed you, though.”
“Branden did.” I nod. “And Rourke protected me from his father.”
He sighs loudly. “Fine. Come in. But don’t touch my mate until I’m done knotting her.”
My face flushes pink like they didn’t all hear all that or haven’t been with me sexually themselves. I have no idea why I have this shy reaction. Maybe I’m just overwhelmed that I have five mates who all want me.

REVELATIONS
SHAYLA
After an hour of Quade snarling at the guys if they even shifted in their bedrolls, his knot finally slips out of me.
None of the guys are allowed near the huge bed.
Quade kisses my shoulder and then turns me in his arms so I’m finally facing him.
The glowing magic light in the corner illuminates the room enough to see his face clearly.
“I’m sorry,” he whispers. “I didn’t want our mating to be like that—so violent. I could have really hurt you.”
“No. You wouldn’t have. They’re just little scrapes.” I brush a lock of his salt and pepper hair from his handsome face. “And it was sort of… hot. I wouldn’t mind you chasing me in the woods sometime, catching me, and fucking my brains out.”
A low purr rumbles in his chest. “My wolf approves.” His fingers caress my cheek and then over my lips. “Are you sure I didn’t hurt you?”
“I’m fine. More than fine. Arden and Branden can heal the scratches if it bothers you, but they’re almost already healed on their own.” Changing the subject, I touch the place over his heart. “I saw our golden threads. Did you?”
“I felt them. Saw them clearly in my mind’s eye.” He smiles. “But I’m not as gifted as you are.”
“Are you upset about Branden and Arden mating me?”
“I really have no right to be after claiming you like that.”
“Damn straight,” Arden grumbles, his deep voice cutting through the night.
“But it was hot as all that,” Landis chuckles. “You can blow my house down anytime, Big Bad Wolf.”
“Alright, alright,” Quade uses his professor's voice. “Let’s get some rest. We have a lot to talk about tomorrow.”
My mind begins to overthink and worry about what Quade has to say. I hear the heaviness in his words. And I feel the weight of some secret through our bond.
Our bond… It seems like a crazy dream to be in the middle of Elfhame with my mates.
Mates!As in plural.
Even the bond with Rourke, my only mate bond still unsolidified, doesn’t feel weak and thready anymore.
Exhaustion hits me, and I allow my body and mind to rest.

When I wake, Quade gives me a sweet peck on the lips and slides out of bed.
