His hand slid between my legs to find me wet and needy as I slipped my leg out of my pants and hooked it over his hip.

We didn’t need anymore words. He pressed his cock inside of me and I was gloriously filled with him. Rolling me onto my back with one leg in my trousers and my other leg, my naked sex bared to him, Lex engulfed me with his brawn and might and I let him take me rough and hard.

“Fuck, Aria” he breathed in my ear. “God, I missed you.” He thrusted into me deep and with such force we jutted back against the headboard.

“Take me Lex, all of me, every inch.” I gritted my teeth as he thrusted in and out, driving our pleasure, needing our closeness.

Nothing felt better than being filled with Lex as his hips pistoned and moved within me until a shiver ran down my body and every nerve tensed.

“I’m going to cum,” he cried out.

“Yes,” I banded my arms around his back and held him to me. “Yes, I’m there too.” And I met his thrusts with my own chasing our pleasure, needing us, needing this, my world blew apart with his warm jets of ecstasy filling me as my pussy clenched and squeezed every last drop of him.

Wefell into a deep dreamless sleep after we’d righted our clothes. I slept better entangled in his embrace than I had in days. Despite the fact that we were still very much in danger out on the water, we were together and that was enough for the moment.

When we awoke, we discovered that we were still on the ocean and it would be at least another day before we neared Navarrah City’s eastern port.

“Why is the journey going to take so long?” I asked Derringer as I found him at the helm after a quick breakfast of warm oats and goat milk.

“We need to keep pace with the fishing boats. We came to Vitoria Island under the cover of darkness, no one saw the speed this boat was able to achieve, but as we return to Navarrah City, there will be guards everywhere. Best we disguise ourselves as a fishing boat, so that we are less conspicuous,” Derringer explained.

“That makes sense,” I told him as Lex and Hawk joined us.

“In the meantime rest and stay out of sight in case a Crypt Claw ship comes we’re going to have to pull off our ruse so they don’t board us looking for you. I suggest the three of you wash up,” he playfully waved his hand across his face.

I felt much better after a little rest and from the looks of Lex he did too. Before he was gaunt and pale, but there was color in his cheeks and a smile on his beautiful face. We did need a wash, however, so the three of us shuffled down below deck. We took turns bathing in the small onboard bathroom. While the wash up was just a rag and some water it did feel good to get clean.

I washed all of our socks and underwear and did a general wipedown of our dirty clothes. We didn’t end up looking nice exactly, but better. For the rest of the time we strategized ways to get the prisoners off of the island and trained to fight with Navarrah City warriors as fast as possible.

On the second day at sea, I looked out to see the Navarrah City’s eastern seaport on the horizon.

“We’re almost to Navarrah City,” I said as the ship slowed in the congested waters.

A quick scan told me that there were still Crypt Claw warriors surrounding the port, but word of our escape had not yet reached them as there were no armed guards standing in the harbor.

“Let’s see what Derringer has planned for us,” Lex said, following me to the galley were Derringer and his menwere having their meal with Hawk who was already deep in conversation.

“So?” Lex asked as he approached. “What’s our strategy?”

“We’re not going to take any risks with your lives. You two are too valuable to Onyx Rah to put in jeopardy, so we’re going to load each of you into cargo boxes that Derringer and I will and a few undercover soldiers will take to the safehouse by cargo van. This way we can get you both to the king safely. I know it won’t be a comfortable trip, but it’s worth the sacrifice to ensure you reach the safehouse without being detected.” Hawk was already taking charge.

He looked refreshed and robust, and more than anything, ready to do his duty.

“Hawk and I have been going over the planning and at the moment, no one has alerted the Crypt Claw guarding the port that you’re missing. We lost the two ships following us on the water last night. We probably have a day before Polonius launches his airships to spread the word of your escape. That’s plenty of time to get the two of you to the safe house and work on implementing our defense strategy,” Derringer further explained.

“So we’re going by cargo box,” I laughed, thinking of how horrible the journey will be locked in a windowless wooden crate.

“We’ve made every concession for your comfort, Your Majesties,” Derringer added. “The boxes have plenty of openings for easy breathing and pillows for comfort. The journey isn’t long, but our only way of ensuring the success of your escape is making sure no one sees you or even suspects they’ve seen anyone. I know you have magic, Queen Aria, but I also understand that your fledgling skills are wild and unpredictable. I’d rather rely on my methods for the moment.”

While I didn’t like him insinuating that I had untamed magic, he wasn’t wrong, though I was growing stronger by the day. I would likely need the bulk of my magic to fight Polonius, so I didn’t balk at Derringer’s plan.

“It sounds like you’ve taken every precaution,” I concede. “And Lex and I are grateful for it.”

“Great,” Derringer said with a satisfied smile. “Since we’re going to be docking in twenty minutes, I suggest we set you up now so that we can transfer the two of you as quickly as possible.” He used his head to indicate for us to follow him and we did.

“Are you sure we can trust this guy?” Lex asked under his breath.

“Bindi swears her life on it.” I gave him a reassuring smile as his friend Hawk picked up the rear.
