“Get me my gun upstairs.” I toss him the key to my room as I begin to walk to the door.

Mateo won't know what hit him. Pietro has it all set for our arrival. He has Mateo in the house so we can attack him unawares.

“Come back to me alive, brother.”

“Always.”

My black SUV is parked in front of my house as I walk outside.

Sterling is by the driver’s seat, smoking a cigar. He nods a greeting as I walk to the backseat door. One of my men has the door opened for me, nodding a greeting. He has a rifle saddledon his shoulder. I stop in my tracks before I enter the car, feeling my pockets for my phone.

“Shit,” I mutter, feeling my empty pockets. I turn back to the house to grab it. My eyes widen in shock as I stare at Bianca kissing Vito.

Oh fuck.

“Oh God,” Bianca groans as she breaks the kiss and takes a step away from him when she notices me.

“Keys?”

Vito turns as he hands them over to me.

Vito tries to speak but I ignore them as I climb the stairs. I’ll get to that whole situation when I get back. Right now, Gianna and my daughter need me. I quickly grab my phone from the nightstand and return downstairs.

Vito is no longer in the house when I get back to the living room. Bianca has one hand rested on her forehead and the other on her hip as she is pacing the space near the stairs.

“Luca, I-”

“Not now, Bianca.”

I exit the house, dialing Giovanni as I walk back to my car.

Vito is seated in front beside Sterling. He has a black baseball cap on now.

Stronzo.

“We are almost there,” Giovanni says as he answers the call.

“I’ll meet you there.”

I end the call as I slip into the car.

Sterling starts the engine immediately, our eyes meeting through the rearview mirror. He drives the car out the gate and four trucks filled with my men follow behind. This is war.

Giovanni and his men are stationed at the point we agreed to meet when we finally arrive. He still has no idea Andre is working for me and I plan to keep it that way. At least for now, until all of this fucking ends.

Sterling and I wind down our windows. Giovanni has his window down, too, as we make eye contact. Then Sterling speeds up, leading the men, with Giovanni following behind.

I’ve won Martino back and made an alliance with him. I promised him a supply of coke for half the price just to have him back on my side.

It’s just Russo and Moretti now.

Taking out Mateo gives me a chance. He is the last piece I need to deal with to take this city back. I’m not stopping till I have it under my control.

“Gun?”

Vito finally makes eye contact with me as he hands over my revolver. His gaze is firm and blank as he tries to hide his guilt.

I’ve been suspecting something was fucking going on with the two of them. Though I never thought I’d catch them kissing in my fucking house. A part of me is glad she’s with Vito. I know she’s safe with him. I can count on him to be loyal and not fuck around with her.
