“Don’t do that. I want to hear what I do to you,” he said.

I tilted my head back as he pushed his tongue inside of me. He worked me, stroking me with his tongue as he gripped my thigh with a hand.

Another moan escaped me when his fingers slid inside and began pumping as his teeth nibbled down. I started panting as I felt my climax coming.

“Oh, fuck . . . S . . . Bash!” I screamed as it shattered through me. I fell back on the table, covered in sweat, while trying to catch my breath. He stood back up and leaned over me to trail kisses up my neck.

He chuckled as he said, “Bash.”

“What?” I asked, confused.

“You called me Bash when you called for me the night you didn’t take your pill, and you just did it again,” he said, placing another kiss on my neck.

“Well, sometimes your name is too much of a mouthful to say,” I said, pushing him off of me so I could sit up. The more I kissed him, the more I wanted, and I didn’t think he would be able to mask both of our sounds if we went any further.

“I like you calling me Bash,” he murmured as his eyes drifted lower down my body.

I grabbed his shirt, pulling him in so I could whisper in his ear. “Bash,” I paused as I felt him tense beneath my hold, “you have a mess to clean up.”

I jumped off the table and pushed past him as I tried to go to my room to freshen up, leaving him to pick up the books he threw across the floor.

I made it all of five seconds before he was standing in front of me and said, “Done.”

I glanced back to see that not only every book was picked up, but they were also shelved.

His devilish grin left him and was replaced with a look of annoyance as he said, “Adar needs me.”

I poked my lip out, toying with him because I had no doubt he was hard beneath his pants. “Too bad, I was going to return the favor,” I said, tapping his length, which confirmed what I had assumed.

He let out a huff before he leaned in to kiss me goodbye.

“Bash,” I said as he turned to leave me.

He brought his attention back to me, eyes wide at what I had called him. I didn’t mean to, but I liked calling him that, liked having a name that only I used for him.

“I want to learn how to use my gifts.”

“Where are we?” I asked as I overlooked the land far below us. We were standing on a large, vacant cliff that must’ve been hundreds of meters up. The ground was a black stone with large rocks scattered around. Some seemed like they were broken, as there were scattered pieces all around. The land below looked like a forest of some sorts, but it was so far down that I couldn’t tell exactly. On the other side of the forest stood an identical cliff to the one we were standing on.

Bash had woken me up long before anyone else was awake and transferred me to a secluded spot to begin my training.

I wasn’t exactly sure what it entailed, especially when he started to call ittraining. Did training mean fighting? All I told him was I wanted to learn how to use my gifts, but I guess my gifts were a form of defense so in a way, it was fighting.

“Miles away from civilization. I wanted to be sure we were somewhere so no one would know what was happening.”

“So this part of your realm is just . . . vacant?”

“I didn’t say that,” he said as he came to my side and pointed somewhere for me to look. “Do you see all of the caves scattered throughout the sides of the cliffs?” I nodded. “Some of the worst monsters in the Night Realm are tucked away in those right now.”

A chill went down my spine. “Then maybe we shouldn’t be here disturbing them.”

“They won’t come out while the sun is out. They may watch you, but they won’t leave the darkness of their cave.”
