“The tables and chairs are in.” Dominic strides out of the kitchen with a black wrought iron chair in his hand. “Are you ready to set everything up?” Chloe and her husband will attend the grand opening in two days.

“Yes.” She beams and claps her hands. “I’m more than ready.”

Dominic is followed by Levi, my brothers, and some of their friends as they file in with the furniture, ripping off plastic and setting things up as they go.

“It’s perfect.” Mira clasps the base of her throat and watches in awe as the guys work.

“What’s perfect?” I wrap my arm around her shoulders. “The layout or the fact that these guys are all showing off their muscles and working up a sweat?”

“Both.” Her eyes dance as she laughs. “I’d have to say it’s an even match.”

“Agreed. I didn’t realize my brothers still knew how to conduct manual labor.”

“Kiss my ass, Bella,” Sam grumbles as he flips a table onto its feet after yanking the protective plastic off the legs. “You know I’m good at manual labor.”

“Not as good as I am.” Dom winks and shoves Sam’s shoulder.

“Disgusting.” Sam glares at Dominic and puffs out his chest. “I don’t want to be reminded of your extra-curricular activities. It’s worse than knowing my parents had sex three times to produce the three of us.”

“I’m sure it was more than three times,” Mira smirks as she returns to scrubbing the cabinet. “Your parents are still young.”

“And so are you, Ms. W.” Xavier leans his elbows on the counter and studies her.

“Move on.” Dominic shoves Xavier on the shoulder. “It was bad enough when you were following Bella around like a lost puppy. I don’t need you flirting with my mom.”

Xavier stands and raises his hands, palms facing outward. “I wasn’t following your girlfriend around.” He winks at me while eyeing me up and down, slowly, just to piss Dominic off. “But she is a pretty girl. You’d better treat her right, or – “

“I’ll knock your teeth out.” Dominic stands between us, bracing his hands on his hips. “So, stop looking at her.”

I lean my backside against the cabinet and watch them bicker. I love them all, but it’s becoming problematic for me to live in the same house as my brothers. I’d like to have kitchen sex. Or bathroom sex. Or sofa –

Dominic turns on his heel and arches his eyebrows. “What?”

“Nothing.” I lie but can’t keep the smile from curving up my lips.

“You’re right, though.” Ben rips a piece of plastic off a chair. “Mira, you’re still young. What are you looking for in a man?”

“Stop.” She rolls her eyes and flips the end of the dust rag in his direction. “I’m too busy to think about men and way too old, for that matter.”

“Yes.” Levi glares at all of them. “She’s busy.”

Dominic stomps toward me and cups my face. “Wildflower, what’s going on with you?”

“You know what’s going on with me.”

“You’re a tease. Do you like knowing you get me all worked up, and then I can’t do anything about it?”

I wrap my arms around his waist and stare up into his gorgeous eyes. “Maybe.”

“Brat. You can’t tease me like that and not suffer the consequences.” The desire in his eyes is unmistakable. He’d have me bent over one of the tables already if we were alone. Thankfully, we’re not alone. These tables don’t look sturdy enough for what he’s got in mind.

“I love the consequences by the way.”

“I know you do.”

“I’m still waiting for that swat.” Heat floods my core. It doesn’t matter how often he’s had me; I want more. Always wanting more.

“That’s it. I’ve had enough.” He grabs my hand. “I’m taking Bella home.”
