“Cap, I’m coming,” I whimper as he starts fucking me harder. “Please.”
I never need to ask twice. I arch back again, knowing that the slight change of angle will do exactly what we need. He circlesmy clit with his thumb, and it’s the magic switch to orgasms that rock us both.
A scream comes out of me as a roar leaves Emmett. It’s at this point I’m glad he lives in the country, because we would have disturbed the neighbors.
“Holy fuck, Tiger,” Emmett breathes out as he lowers me back to the bed. His arms wrap around me instantly, bringing me in to put my head on his chest.
God, I’ve missed this…
“If you were wondering, what we did right there is a good boyfriend thing. We should do that a lot.” My joke shakes his chest, and I hug him tighter. “I don’t want to leave.”
“Then don’t,” he says, kissing my forehead. “Stay the night.”
My body warms all over from the thought. “Yeah?”
“Yeah,” his smile is maybe the biggest I’ve ever seen it. “We’ll get dinner. I’m sure there’s some show that’s come out recently that we can agree on. Have a lazy night in. Do that another three times. Whatta ya say?”
“I say that sounds like a perfect night in with my boyfriend.”
We fall into a comfortable silence. His fingers are lazily tracing circles on my back as I listen to his heartbeat come back to its normal pace.
That is until I realize something that neither of us thought to talk about that makes me sit straight up in the bed.
“What?” Emmett asks. “Are you okay?”
“I don’t know,” I admit. “We forgot something kind of big.”
“What? If it’s do I have ice cream, the answer is no, but people do get delivery out here.”
“Good to know, but that’s not it.”
“Tiger. Spit it out. It can’t be that bad.”
That’s up for debate…
“We need to figure out how to tell Simon.”

“Emmett…earth to Emmett…you here?”
I only catch the last of that after Simon snaps his fingers in front of my face. I slap his hand away, which he thinks is just me being surly. It wasn’t. I was daydreaming about Stella’s good morning blow job, so now I’m pissed I’m back to reality.
“Sorry. Say that again?”
Simon sighs. Stella snickers.
I give her a side eye from my seat at the conference table we’re sitting at. There are a few chairs between each of us, because it would be weird if any of us sat right next to each other.
Even though it’s killing me not to be next to her. Hell, it killed me this morning when she left my house to get ready for work. Besides the fact she didn’t have any of her work clothes or makeup here—I did get her a toothbrush which looks mighty fine in one of the empty slots of my toothbrush holder—we knew we couldn’t show up to work together. That’s not how we want to announce this to Simon.
Though we do have a plan to tell him. Which we will. If he ever shuts up.
“What I was asking my faithful number two is if we’re readyto break ground next week on the commercial building in Franklin?”
“Oh. Yeah, we’re set,” I say. Thank God he asked me a question I didn’t have to think too hard about. “Permits finally came through, thanks to Stella, and I talked to the foreman today. All is ready for Monday.”
