“You’ve handled yourself just fine since Papa brought you in. You can share my empire, we’d be unstoppable.”

There was no point arguing about it, so I sighed. “Fine, I’ll think about it. Don’t get too excited though.”

He clapped my shoulder with a grin as he stepped back. “That’s better. Did you have something to do with Leonardo’s disappearance? I heard Papa is looking for him since he didn’t return from a job.”

“If he’s the prick that broke into my house, then yes,” I grunted, leaning back against the wall to cross my arms.

“Papa will be very mad.”

“He’s already mad.”

“What if he finds out it was you?”

“Then we’d better handle him soon,” I replied, panic hitting me when the door opened and Zavier stepped inside with Raven. Zavier halted, putting his arm out to block Raven from getting closer to us. His eyes narrowed on Dante, but Dante was too busy eyeing my girl to notice.

“The fuck are you looking at?” Raven snapped defensively, only making Dante smirk.

“I see why he likes you. I bet you fight him on everything.”

Her eyes slid to mine, trying to find an answer on who the fuck he was, but Zavier scowled.

“You brought the mafia prince here? Where Ravensleeps?”

“Why does it sound demeaning when he calls me a prince?” Dante chuckled, offering his hand to shake. “My friends call me Dante.”

“I’d bet money on the fact that you don’t have any friends,” Zavier answered flatly.

Dante dropped his hand, interest in his tone. “Oh, you’re a spicy thing too. Ander, are you sure you’re not bending him over? He’s just your type but with a dick.”

“Excuse me,” Zavier exclaimed with offense, motioning to me. “I have major top energy. Ander would be the bottom.”

“Is that right? Ander’s the bottom?” Dante asked as he turned to look at me, making me huff. He wasn’t understanding that it was sarcasm.

“Absolutely not, he’s joking. I told you not to come here, so leave. Next time, just call.”

“I doubt you’d answer your phone. You’ll be too busy knocking on Raven’s cervix,” he said dryly, tilting his head at her. “You look pretty plain, so do you have a fancy party trick in bed or something? He’s fucking obsessed with you.”

“Shut the fuck up. Raven,” I said more sharply than intended, not wanting this to turn into a fight. “Go hang out in the bedroom with Zav while I say goodbye to Dante.”

“You could just let me stab him,” she muttered, giving him the stink eye.

“Please do as I say,” I asked, a little surprised when she blew out an annoyed breath and nodded.

“Fine. Make sure you lock up when he leaves.”

I didn’t dare tell her the house had been locked and he got in.

Zavier followed her, giving Dante a dirty look on the way past, and Dante’s whole body language became tense the second they shut themselves in the bedroom.

“You’re just letting him in there alone with her? Don’t they have history together?”

Sharing the women we loved was practically a mafia sin, so I didn’t even try to explain it to him.

“It’s fine,” I answered in Italian, not wanting Raven or Zavier to hear our conversation.

“I don’t fucking trust her.”

“You don’t have to,” I bit out, motioning to the door. “Don’t stop by like this again. I have things handled, and you’re going to fuck everything up.”
