"That's ok, Manny. Your beautiful daughter, Ava, is more than welcome to join us. She looks like she is an incredibly smart young lady who might be able to help us solve this little problem," I say sweetly, staring straight at Ava. She doesn't even acknowledge I have spoken or thank me for my supportive words. This just reinforces the type of girl I was expecting to be dealing with. A bitch.

"Papa, I’m staying!" Ava states firmly before perching her tight round ass on the edge of her father's armchair next to him. In what I am assuming is an attempt to appear tough in front of us, Ava crosses her arms and looks straight at me with her molten eyes. The problem is that when she crosses her arms, it pushes her average sized tits up, making them, and her cleavage, look so succulent, even my dick starts to spring into action. I might think she is a bitch, but I am still a man who can appreciate a nice rack.

"That's great, the more minds the better. So do you want to update Ava on where we are at or shall I?" I ask Manny with a condescending tone. I don't need to play nice with him anymore. I already know the outcome of this visit, he just needs to learn what will happen if he doesn’t get on board.

"Erm… Well… I," stumbles Manny and I can’t help but huff out an exacerbated breath; we will be here all day at this rate. It’s clear he doesn't want to tell his daughter the truth, but I don't give a shit about what he wants, so I jump right in.

"Manny here likes to gamble, but the problem is that he’s not very good at it. He owes my father over forty thousand pounds. Not only has he missed several payments, resulting in severe interest being added, but he has continued to place bets and lost again last night. Father is very displeased and has sent me to arrange a suitable payment plan. However, all your father is able to offer me is his word and sadly, at this point, that doesn't mean anything." I watch her beautiful face distort into pain and can’t help the little twinge of joy that attacks my chest. She looks so hurt and I can see tears filling her eyes but she tries to hold them back. Manny is looking at the floor in shame and cannot bring himself to look his daughter in the eyes. Fucking coward.

"Papa, is this true?" she mumbles and I hear her voice start to crack at the end, like she might actually cry. I know I should feel bad for causing her hurt like this, but I don't. This is just a means to an end.

I hear him croak out, “yes,” and her breath hitches. Then her back straightens, clearly she has found some inner strength and she turns to address me.

"What do we need to do, Mr…" She fades out, having realised she doesn't know my name. Ava maintains eye contact with me to show she is being strong for her father, but she is nibbling on her lower lip, an obvious indicator of her anxiety.

"Blakeman. Grant Blakeman, but you can call me Grant. Unfortunately, Ava, your father has become unreliable in the eyes ofmyfather. So, we will need some collateral to act as an initiative for him to get the money," I say this just as smoothly as I practiced. Out of the corner of my eye, I notice Ryder start to fidget because he is worried I have gone off-book. This is not what Father ordered or what we planned. Well actually, this is not what we planned with my father. I, on the other hand, have always had a different plan.

"But we do not have anything of value you could take as collateral. We do not even own this house, Sir. I'm sorry, I don't know what we can give. But now that I know, I can take on extra shifts. I will get a second job if I need to, and after we pay our rent and buy a little food, the rest of the money will go to you every week," says Ava with conviction in her voice. She must really love her father if she is willing to work herself to the bone for him. I look at Manny, expecting him to say he can't let her do that, or that he will be the one to work instead, but, of course, he doesn't, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

"Ava, this is not your debt. You should not have to work yourself to death to pay it off," I say sweetly, trying to show her how much I care about her, but that just causes her to look confused.

"It may not be my debt, but he is my papa and I will do whatever I can to help him. If that means working two, even three jobs, then that’s what I will do. That is what you do for family," she states with conviction in her voice and I am almost jealous with how much she clearly loves her father. It is an alien concept to me given that my father is an evil bastard who has tortured me my entire life. Manny looks like her speech might have been enough to spur him into saying something, but him talking will ruin my plan, so I cut him off.

"Well, Manny here may be willing to let you run yourself into the ground for his debt, but I am not. So, I will offer you both a one time only deal, if you are interested?" I ask as my vision flits between them both before landing on Ryder, who has on his normal worried frown. Ryder is my security manager and his job is to assess risk. The best way for him to do this is to have as much information as possible. Right now, he has no idea what is going on and his posture and face show that.

"I'm listening," says Ava as casually as she can, but I can see the hope glistening in her eyes. She is naturally apprehensive, not an approach that is shared by her desperate father.

"Yes, please. We are so grateful to you for offering us a deal," shouts Manny, with no idea what my offer is.

Ava subtly shakes her head, trying to tell him they need to hear me out first, which is a wise move. But what Ava clearly has not grasped, that Manny has, is that they are in no position to negotiate.

"I am willing to offer Ava a position in my countryside home. It will be working as house staff, helping in the kitchen, cleaning, and so on. It will be a live-in position as the house needs to be cared for when I’m staying at my father's house in the city. I will give you an above average wage and you can keep a small percentage to live on, then the rest will go towards the debt. The wage itself will be more than working three jobs combined and you will not need to exhaust yourself. All of my staff live in comfort and are treated well. Once the debt is paid off, you will be given the option to stay on staff or leave, but you may not quit until the debt is paid off. If you do, all of the money on the debt will be reinstated. That will be written very clearly into your contract. Manny can continue paying off the debt with any money he has available also, to help it get paid faster, and of course, he will be prevented from placing any further bets with our business until the debt is paid." I present my case softly, as though it is a perfectly legit business transaction. It is not.

I see Ava's shoulders drop when she realises this really is the only option they have of ever getting the debt paid off. But she has no idea how long she will be gone and I can see her internal struggle with that. Watching as her face morphs into a look of humiliation and fear as she silently communicates with her father and realises he is more than happy to sell his daughter to pay off his debt. That’s when her face hardens like stone and she turns to me sternly.

"I’m happy to work for you, Sir. But I will not move into your home," she says fervently, clearly thinking this is a negotiation. It is not. I get what I want. Manny, obviously latching onto some of his daughter's courage, begins to speak.

"Could we not come to some agreement that does not involve my daughter moving away from me, please?" he asks shakily, clearly not as tough as his daughter. I look at him with an air of disappointment so he knows I’m not happy he has eventriedto negotiate. His face morphs into one of fear.

"Unfortunately, no. All of my contracts are the same and require a live-in position. Mine and my father's business is very important and we require a lot of trust from our employees. But, I am willing to pay Ava more than is standard for this job role. I anticipate that, even without any contribution from you, she will have the debt paid off in under six months." Manny starts to cough and choke as Ava's eyes open in shock. If my proposition was genuine, I would be severely overpaying Ava and they both know it, the question is; does it matter? They can obviously tell there will be more to the job if I am paying so much more but they seem to ignore that part. Well, Manny does. Ava still remains a little untrusting and she is right to be.

"I'm sorry, Sir, but I’m still not sure if I want to move away from Papa," Ava explains and I smile sweetly like I understand what she means. I don’t. Every night I am forced to spend in the big house under the same roof as my father provokes fury and disgust. Even being in a different wing of the house is too close to him for my liking, which is why I bought my house in the country. But, Ava doesn’t need to know any of this. I just have to say what is necessary to get her to the house. The rest will go from there.

"Oh, Ava. I completely understand that. I will give special permission to your father so he can visit the house. Before you decide, why don't you come with us and let me show you the house? I can introduce you to Hilda, who will be your boss. She runs the house for me as I’m hardly there. You can meet the other staff and hear what it is like to work there and I will show you what would be your room and the facilities you will have access to when you are not working. I hope that will be enough to reassure you this is a legit offer, Ava," I say sweetly, trying to reel her in. All I need to do is get her into my house and I can take care of the rest. If she continues to say no, I will be forced to kidnap her. And I really don’t want to have to. It’s messy and gets things off to a bad start. So, bribery seems like the best way to get her on board. For now.

Ava looks at her father and I can see the pleading in his pathetic eyes. He knows his daughter is the only way to get him out of this shit hole that he’s dug for himself. She obviously sees the look of desperation in his eyes too because I see her take a deep inhale of breath as she resigns herself to her fate. Yet, she still tries to maintain some of her tough girl exterior.

"Fine. But if I’m not sold after the tour, can we discuss another deal?" she asks, sounding a little hopeful. That tough girl act is the first thing I need to get rid of when I get her home. She will need to learn to be obedient, quickly. But for now, I just need to get her there. I know I have no intention of negotiating with her and that the offer is irrelevant anyway, but she doesn't need to know that. So, I agree.

I explain we will need to leave straight away as I have further business later, but Ryder will be able to drive Ava home after the tour. Ryder looks at me with a curious look and I just smile. He knows I’m lying and he is trying to figure out what is going on. There’s no denying that Ryder has one of those trusting faces, which is why I suggested he would be the one to get her home safely. Ava seems happy with this and goes to get her bag and jacket.

Whilst Ava is not in the room, I decide to let Manny know there can be some leeway with his ability to place bets once he starts paying his debt off, if he wants, we just won't tell his daughter. This causes his face to light up before realising that placing more bets could result in his daughter staying in my employment for longer. However, Manny is a true gambling addict and I see the look of hope on his face that his next bet will be the one where he wins big and can pay it all off and free her. He’s right, it might be, but we all know that rather than pay off his debt, Manny will place it on a bigger bet to win even more, until he finally loses it all. But I don't give a shit what he does. As far as I am concerned, the minute Ava's round juicy ass hits my expensive leather car seats, she is mine.

Chapter Two

Grant

Ryder holds the back passenger side door open for Ava and she slides in, before he takes the passenger seat in the front of the car. I slide into the back and I’m instantly hit by her sweet, floral scent as it fills the small space of the car. I notice she sits as far away from me as she can with her tiny little body curled up against the door. I love the fact she instantly knows that she should fear me because fear makes people obey, which is exactly what I want from her. She will be mine and everyone will know it. I will take pride in bending her to my will.
