“Words, baby. I need to hear your sexy voice.”
“I’m good. Might need to take care of business a bit before I leave this office, though,” she sasses.
Little shit. “You know I’m not one to leave you unsatisfied,” I growl.
“Hmm.” Her lips twist as she tries to look innocent.
“Liv,” I warn.
She bites her lip and I give in, diving for her once more. I can’t resist her. She knows it. I also know she already had an orgasm so there’s nothing for her to take care of. But that doesn’t stop me from laying her back on my desk and grinding my hips against hers. I’m dry humping her like we’re high schoolers in her parents’ basement rather than grown adults in my office, but I don’t care. I kiss down her neck, pushing aside the thin material of her striped shirt so the soft, silky skin of her shoulder is exposed. I suck lightly, not enough to leave a mark, even though I wouldn’t be opposed to everyone in this bar knowing who she belongs to – even if she doesn’t want to admit it yet.
She’s squirming beneath me, wanting more friction. Without Liv speaking, I know what she needs. Her hips shimmy back and forth and I groan, wanting nothing more than to be inside her. But I won’t. The Flying Goat isn’t some seedy bar but it’s still a bar… she deserves more than a quickie in my office. Instead, I give her as much as I can with the time we have. I shove aside her vest and squeeze her breast, roughly moving her bra aside in the process. My thumb grazes over her nipple and she gasps, her legs tightening around my hips and urging me on.
“Ethan,” she moans, stretching out my name in two long syllables. “More.”
Chapter 31
Olivia
I don’t knowhow to resist this man. He knows it, too. My pleas for more cause him to tip me over the edge. For the second time tonight. Ethan is the only man who’s ever given me spontaneous orgasms.
Okay, that might not be entirely true. It’s not as if I look at him and just scream out his name in ecstasy. However, Ethan already knows how to press every single button on my body. And he does itwell. I don’t need to guide him or tell him what I like.
His thumb grazes over my nipple once more and I see stars. My body igniting under his touch for the second time in only a few minutes. He muffles the sound of my orgasm with a rough kiss. Our tongues curl around each other’s. I hold him close to me with my hand wrapped around the back of his neck. Something I learned turns him on further. He loves it when I show my desire to possess him. And I do. I want him to be mine, but I won’t take what I’m not ready to hold for life.
The power he has over me, over my heart, is terrifying.
“So fucking sexy. I love feeling your body come alive under me. I missed that. Facetime just didn’t cut it.”
I hum, knowing exactly what he means. Watching him lose control because of me is my favorite pastime. I can’t think too deeply into how my heart cries for him, instead, he indulges me in keeping it surface level.
“Still need to take care of yourself?”
I giggle. I knew he would fall for it. I wasn’t ready to let him go back out to the bar yet, but I could see in his eyes he wasn’t ready, either. When I first arrived and heard the small group of women challenging each other about taking him home, the same ones who were here that first night, I almost lost it and screamed in their faces that he is mine.
Ethan stands up, helping me do the same and righting my clothes. I do my best to tame my hair but I’m pretty sure every single person in the bar will know that I’ve been ravaged.
He looks down at me and I trail the tip of a finger over the dimple in his left cheek. His gaze is adoring and full of love and I’m sure mine mirrors his.
When he speaks, his words betray what I know he wants to do. “I gotta get out to the bar. Rex is gonna be losing his mind by now.”
I make an eek face. “He saw me come back here.”
Ethan barks out a laugh. “Well then, we might as well get outta here now. Head to my place.”
A groan erupts from my throat. “Don’t tempt me. But I have to be here, being one of Lily’s bridesmaids and all.”
“She ready?” He looks toward the door like she should be coming through it any minute.
I smile and rest my hands on his chest. Nodding my head, I tell him, “Yup. Isn’t it amazing? She deserves so much happiness.” And she truly does. Lily Cole is one of the best people I know. Her life wasn’t always easy, growing up without a mom, but it never deterred her from being a wonderful human being.
“I’m happy for her. Make sure you bring them both up to the bar tonight. Wanna meet him.”
“I will.”
“You need the key to my place?”
A nod. Stomach flutter. My pulse throbs in my throat.
